Happy Fifth Night of Hanukkah! I’m really excited about today’s giveaway prize. I use mine all the time.
Today’s prize is: Sudio Fem bluetooth earbuds!
I have a pair of them and use them constantly. I use them for yoga which I do with an app on my phone, and when I’m sewing and want to listen to music or podcasts. The case charges them, so in between uses they are topped up, and there’s a light indicator on the front to tell you when to charge up the case.
My favorite thing is that once they were paired with my phone, when I take them out of the case, they activate and re-connect to my phone automatically. Since I usually work out first thing in the morning, and am often in my pjs, not having to fiddle with buttons is wonderful.
Want some specs?
- 20 hours total playtime on a full charge
- Ambient noise reduction with microphones on each earbud
- You can use one or both
- Comes with four sizes of earbud to get a good fit
- Bluetooth range of 10m
Want to enter? Yay!

Definitely podcasts! My favorites have been “Newcomers” with Nicole Byer, “You’re Wrong About,” and NPR’s “Pop Culture Happy Hour.”
I’ve been listening to allll the podcasts! SBTP, of course, and Lingthusiasm and Dear Hank and John and Dames and Dragons (if you like D&D podcasts or fantasy storytelling podcasts it’s seriously awesome!)…and…lots of podcasts.
I enjoy listening to everything but this year I especially enjoyed some of the podcasts put out by CBC. They are cold cases which I love.
The meditations in the Smiling Mind app have brought me much happiness this year (love his luscious Australian accent)
I got completely immersed in the podcast “Fangasm” this spring while stuck at home quarantining. The hosts read erotic fanfiction, and I laughed so hard my husband asked to listen with me so he could know what I was laughing about
I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks, notably Georgette Heyer and Murderbot about once a month.
Since I’m working from home now I don’t get to listen to my books much anymore but I have enjoyed listening to my daughters music every day as she does her school work while I work! It’s really nice spending everyday with her!
I’ve found myself listening to more audiobooks, especially to fall asleep at night since they keep my brain focused on the story and not on pandemic and personal life anxiety. I am currently listening my way through the Oxford Tea Room Mysteries by H.Y. Hanna because cozy mysteries are apparently how I cope best.
I have been listening to the Futurebirds’ Teamwork album all year.
Call me strange but I enjoyed being able to listen to the music of my choice whenever I wanted to and as loud as I wanted to do so. Well until the cat ate the cord of my headphones.
I discovered Fontaines DC this year–they’re Irish, they rock, and although I am way too old for this, so damn cute.
I really got into audiobooks this year!! I don’t have much attention span right now so it’s nice to be able to listen to books while I clean or work or just play Animal Crossing.
I’m enjoying listening to music recommended by my grown kids, lots of new sounds for me …and introductions to artists I would have never found w/o the recommendations. Good stuff!
I need to pretend I’m at shows this year, so I prefer watching streams and such (the Ash concert DVDs are getting a workout). Chris Murphy of Sloan did four separate solo shows online, and they were delightful. His cat Emilio almost brought down the setup a few times, but the times when his youngest son Santiago backed him on tambourine made me smile. (I especially loved how Santi obviously was watching the crowd chat scrolling by on the monitor in front of him without missing a beat. Kids these days! I can’t wait for whatever band he’s in in ten years…)
I loved listening to Tessa Dare’s Spindle Cove series on audio from my local library 🙂
Are you ready for this, bitchery? Since Jan 1, I have listened to (and finished) 158 audiobooks and abandoned 35. Now granted, my normal job evaporated on Fri, March 13, with the onset of Covid, AND I was determined to listen to as much as I could before Audible ended its Escape program. My dog has taken MANY long walks in the last nine months. The 158 included the complete Virgin River series but also some real gems including Michelle Obama’s book, Hamnet, and Anxious People. And this was all after buying a new phone in January that came without the traditional phone jack for which I had many sets of beloved earbuds (let it be known that the jack replacement set-up is an abomination).
I listen to music. Lots of music. My recent favourite is Keith Urban’s latest, The Speed of Now.
This year I made several “Angry Women” playlists that, while eclectic in genre, are tied together with feminine rage. And podcasts, especially Short Wave and Ear Hustle. Love me some science and prison life!
This was the year of podcasts. Many, many podcasts.
WFUV, especially their weekend archives any day of the week I want.
Always listening to Bossa Nova & podcasts this year! Ear hustle, mfm, casefile, lpotl Are my faves!
I love listening to podcasts. My favorites are: Pod Save America, Bitch Sesh, and Fair Game. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts while doing housework.
My favorite podcasts this year have been Fated Mates and Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History (pretty different lol). Also loved a lot of romance audiobooks – Kerrigan Byrne, Joanna Shupe and Sherry Thomas.
Podcasts. I usually only listen to them when I exercise and the my queue seems to be very similar to my TBR books: neverending.
I enjoy listening to pop song lists on radio stations.
Podcasts. Continued my obsession with You’re Wrong About (discovered through you guys, THANK YOU for that) and started Noble Blood and Welcome to Night Vale. And of course your podcast!
I listen to podcasts in the morning and music while I work!
I loved listening to ALL the audiobooks, especially Alyssa Cole’s Runaway Royals Series.
I’ve started listening to Busy Phillips is Doing Her Best. I’m not usually a podcast person, but I love it!
The audio versions of the Ancillary trilogy. Adjoa Andoh brings so much more to the what Leckie wrote.
Podcasts, so many podcasts. Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me! has been a lifesaver. It never fails to make me laugh. Also, my audiobook listening time has really increased. Fantasy and sci-fi romance have been the favorites. Sometimes meditation music is the ticket. Like so many, I am unable to visit my kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, all of whom are my oxygen. Sounds in the ears have eased hurts in the heart.
Cal performances put their season online, so I have enjoyed a wonderful recital by Yo-Yo Ma and Catherine Stott.
Podcasts, definitely. “A Way to Garden” by Margaret Roach has become therapy for me.
Your podcast of course and the Masterpiece podcast for all the Masterpiece shows on PBS
Podcasts like “You’re Wrong About” and “Fated Mates”
Murdetbot!Murderbot!Muderbot! The novellas and the novel that came out beginning of covid got me through. It s what I listen to when I am out for walks, cooking or when anxiety gets Real and I need to get out of my head.
I’m weirdly addicted to soundtracks as a background noise for when I’m working at home, so that’s my main listening pleasure in pandemic times.
So many podcasts this year! And I’m starting to listen to nonfiction audiobooks as well.
I’ve been listening to a lot of podcasts. As a West Wing nerd, I’ve been following the West Wing Weekly, No Lie from Brian Tyler Cohen and Pod Save America. And when I have had enough politics, I turn to my Audible for some of my favorite books.
