Happy Eighth Night of Hanukkah!
We made it!
We’ve got candles burning and possibly the smoke alarm making side eye at us, but we are celebrating!
Let’s get to our final giveaway!
Today’s prize is: a Kate Spade Wilson Road Quilted Talya in Ruffled Pansy…and a Kate Spade Wilson Road Quilted Jodi in Ruffled Pansy.
Yup. TWO! TWO BAGS!

Aren’t they nifty? When I saw this duo, I thought how perfect it would be for crafting or travel, or both!
Want some specs?
- The larger tote bag measures approximately 12.0″h x 13.2″w x 5.5″d
- The handle drop is 9.0″
- It has a zip closure across the top
- Inside are two slide pockets and an interior zip pocket.
And the smaller bag?
- The smaller bag measures approximately 5.0″h x 3.75″w
- It has a zipper top and an interior slide pocket
- The interior lining is wipeable (so it could be used for art supplies or cosmetics)
- It is so. Freaking. Cute.

Happily This Christmas
A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas
The Intimacy Experiment
I am really looking forward to “Hit Me With Your Best Scot” by Suzanne Enoch,
Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
Helen Hoang’s The Heart Principle!
The Devil You Know by Kit Rocha
Last Guard by Nalini Singh
Erin Nicholas’s Four Weddings and a Swamp Boat Tour
The Bride Bet by Tessa Dare
Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan
Highland Treasure by Lynsay Sands
The 4th book in Tesa Dare’s Girl Meets Duke, The Bride Bet.
Tessa Dare’s The Bride Bet!
Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews (which fortunately is released in January). Booked for Kidnapping (mercenary librarians) and Ruby Fever (Ilona Andrews).
Boyfriend Material!
Lucy Parker’s next book!
Anything by Nalini Singh. Her voice works for me.
The Devil Comes Courting by Courtney Milan
Serena Bell’s SO GOOD, the third in her Tierney Bay series. It’s scheduled for 2021, but I don’t think there’s a publication date yet.
I really want to read the next Anne Bishop book!
Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs.
But I am also happily awaiting new books by CS Harris, Deanna Raybourn, JD Robb, Anna Lee Huber to name a few.
The new Tessa Dare!
I want to finish the Zanetti Deep Ops series that I’ve started!!!
The Bride Bet by Tessa Dare. I admit her more recent books have been hit-or-miss for me (great writing, ok story). But I’m ready for the witty banter and happy ending!
How To, by Randall Monroe
It’s due back at the library in early January, but I don’t think I’m going to get to it this year.
(Sorry, but I’ve completely lost track of new book releases at this point.)
I think G.A. Aiken’s SCARRED EARTH SAGA will be up first thing in 2021, entirely due to SBTB recommendations.
There are so many to look forward to–especially The Warlord by Gena Showalter and Devil In Disguise by Lisa Kleypas
Right now, the most anticipated (ok maybe more than one) is:
The Windsor Knot (where QEII is an amateur sleuth)
Battle Royal by Lucy Parker — I love her books so I’ll give this one a try even though contrary to this list, I’m not much of a royalty trope reader.
I’m looking forward to A Dance of Smoke and Steel, by Milla Vane
2021, not to be jealous, but I have already pre-ordered
Fugitive Telemetry, and am eagerly awaiting the return of Murderbot!
I’ve had a hard time reading recently. Just so dang distracted by the (public and personal) slings and arrows of 2020. My reading dream for 2021 is to find books that are engaging, smart, and, for the love of Pete, happy!!
2 I’m looking forward to are new ones from Tessa Dare and Courtney Milan.
I am looking forward to What the Devil Knows by C. S. Harris.
So many historical mysteries to pick just one
Fire Keeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley
I am looking forward to the rest of Ian’s story in Wicked All Night by Jeanine Frost.
I’m waiting for The Devil Comes Courting by Courtney Milan, What the Devil Knows by C.S. Harris, and An Unexpected Peril by Deanna Raybourn.
Quiet in her bones by Nalini Singh!!
I can’t wait for Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs!
