How to Date a Douchebag: The Studying Hours
The Studying Hours by Sara Ney is $2.99 at Amazon! Series name aside, I really enjoyed this one back when the Audible Escape package was around. I also recommended it in our Seduction as a Bet Rec League and for Ready Set Go: Double Features.
CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three. She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends.
He wants to spend time with her.
He wants to drive her crazy. He wants…
Her.

My Favorite Things
My Favorite Things by Lynsay Sands is $1.99! This is a holiday collection and features three short holiday romance novellas. I’m uncertain if these were published elsewhere first and then compiled together. If you know, drop a comment below!
Three classic tales of Christmas and love, together for the first time, from New York Times Bestselling Author Lynsay Sands!
All I Want
With Lady Prudence’s father gambling away the family’s savings, all she wants for Christmas is to haul him away from London’s most notorious gaming hell. Yet the wickedly handsome proprietor, Lord Stockton, refuses to let a lady enter his establishment. Now Pru needs a Christmas miracle to make her wish come true—and to resist succumbing to Stockton’s charms.
Three French Hens
Brinna’s life as a scullery maid changes with the arrival of the castle’s newest guest, Lady Joan. Desperate to escape an arranged marriage, Joan suggests that look-alike Brinna take her place at the Christmas festivities. Suddenly, Brinna finds herself being wooed by a true gentleman, and getting the best Christmas present of all: a new life.
The Fairy Godmother
Odel is told by her godmother that she must marry by Christmas, and even gives her fairy dust to separate the mice from the men. But Odel has sworn off love…until kind and generous Michel catches her eye. He shows Odel how good it can feel to fall in love, but will it be enough to convince Odel to trust her heart?

Jingle Wars
Jingle Wars by R. Holmes and Veronica Eden is $2.99 at Amazon! Listen, I’m a self-admitted Grinch, but this is even tempting me to buy it. There are dueling holiday inns in a small, wintry wonderland. It sounds cute and all sorts of brain candy.
From bestselling authors R. Holmes & Veronica Eden comes an all-new steamy new adult enemies-to-lovers holiday romcom standalone.
Two inns, one town, and there’s not enough room for the both of them.
Add in a reindeer-ish donkey, a Christmas competition, and a rivalry to end all rivalries and you’re bound to end up in disaster, right?
Finn Mayberry has enough on his plate trying to keep his Grandparents inn afloat. The last thing he needed was some California state of mind starlet bulldozing into his town and throwing up a five-star resort right next to his family’s inn.
But, now she’s here and he can’t get her out of his town or his head.
Freya Anderson took one look at the snowcapped mountains of Hollyridge and fell in love. She’s finally here and ready to take on the task of proving to her father that she can handle running Alpine.
She never expected to make enemies with the sinfully delicious lumberjack of a man who runs the inn next door. He’s moody, impossible and completely off limits.
There can only be one winner, but you know what they say. All is fair in love and… Jingle Wars?

Miss Featherton’s Christmas Prince
Miss Featherton’s Christmas Prince by Ella Quinn is $2.99 at Amazon! However, fingers crossed it will be price-matched at other vendors later. This is part of the Marriage Game series. I’m reasonably sure this works as a standalone, but please correct me if I’m wrong!
Ella Quinn’s wealthy, titled bachelors think they’re immune to romantic notions. Yet no matter how they try to evade it, love somehow finds a way…
In the two seasons since her triumphant debut, Meg Featherton’s heart has been tested to its limits. Her first suitor: a criminal. The second, a cad. For her third act, Meg vows to leave love completely out of the marriage equation. She has set her sights on a newly made viscount whom she could take or leave. However, now she must avoid his handsome, roguish, irresistible best friend like the plague. It’s no easy feat, as they are all attending the same house party…
Damon, Marquis of Hawksworth, cannot imagine why Miss Featherton seems so damn disinterested—or why he cares so terribly much. Certainly Meg is a fine wifely prospect for a man in his position, but more than that, he finds he longs for her as he has never done for another woman. She may be determined to protect her heart, but Damon is equally set on winning her over, one delicious kiss at a time…

I liked the Quinn a lot, from what I can remember!
I’m *heartbroken* that HOW TO DATE A DOUCHEBAG isn’t about one of my favorite historical couples:
https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/lord-and-lady-douchebag/2845955
Just found out last night that Sarah Waters’ Tipping the Velvet (classic novel of lesbian shenanigans in Edwardian England) is on sale via Nook for $1.99. Having worn-out my physical copy, it was an insta-buy.
My Christmas Number One, which I added to my wishlist because someone on this site recommended it, is $1.99 on Amazon US. I’m buying way too many books these days.
According to the B&N descriptions, the Sands stories are all in previous anthologies:
All I Want – published in Wish List.
The Fairy Godmother – published in Mistletoe & Magic.
Three French Hens – published in Five Gold Rings and also in A Historical Christmas Present.
Yay for the return of the hearts! Thank you.
For a moment I confused Julia Quinn and her Featheringtons with Ella Quinn and Featherton. I wonder if this is an homage. Anyone know?
