Apologies in advance for all the Nook and Kobo readers out there! Sale offerings are weird today. Don’t forget to vote!
Crossing Hearts

Crossing Hearts by Kimberly Kincaid is 99c at Amazon! This is a small town contemporary romance and the first in a series. The second book is also on sale. Readers loved the hero in this one, but felt the book could have been cut down by about fifty pages.
Hunter Cross has no regrets. Having left his football prospects behind the day he graduated high school, he’s happy to carry out his legacy on his family’s farm in the foothills of the Shenandoah. But when a shoulder injury puts him face-to-face with the high school sweetheart who abandoned town—and him—twelve years ago, Hunter’s simple life gets a lot more complicated.
Emerson Montgomery has secrets. Refusing to divulge why she left her job as a hotshot physical therapist for a pro football team, she struggles to readjust to life in the hometown she left behind. The more time she spends with Hunter, the more Emerson finds herself wanting to trust him with the diagnosis of MS that has turned her world upside down.
But revealing secrets comes with a price. Can Hunter and Emerson rekindle their past love? Or will the realities of the present—and the trust that goes with them—burn that bridge for good?

Wrong Number, Right Guy by Elle Casey is 99c! This is the first book in The Bourbon Street Boys series and all the other books are discounted as well. Readers recommended this for fans of romantic comedy contemporaries. However, others felt the amount of comedy bordered on immature.
When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout.
After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

Never Kiss a Rake by Anne Stuart is 99c! This is the first book in the Scandal at the House of Russell historical romance series. I personally think Stuart’s books are an acquired taste, and I say this as someone who has read both her historical romances and romantic suspenses. Lots of alpha heroes!
Anguished by death. Driven by revenge.
Bryony Russell and her two sisters are left destitute by the disgrace and unexpected death of their father, a wealthy shipping magnate. He left a cryptic note, and Bryony is determined to find the real villain and clear her father’s name. In disguise as a servant, Bryony infiltrates the home of her father’s business partner to find proof of his guilt…or innocence. It’s not just clues that Bryony finds, but temptation too…
Adrian Bruton, Earl of Kilmartyn, immediately suspects there is something not quite right about his new housekeeper. The brooding, irresistible rake plays along because he has his own guilty secrets, and his venal, scheming wife holds the key to them, trapping him in a hate-filled marriage. But against his will he’s fascinated by Bryony, seeing past the scars on her face to show her the beauty she never knew she had. Bryony must uncover the truth and attempt to preserve her father’s legacy, before things go too far and she falls in love with a man who might very well be her worst enemy.

Autumn in the Vineyard by Marina Adair is 99c! There’s a star-crossed, enemies to lovers element and readers loved the smooth-talking, Italian hero. But some readers didn’t really see the gravity of the conflict between the hero and heroine. This was made into a Hallmark movie and I’ve been meaning to watch it, since it stars Rachael Leigh Cook. A couple of the other books in the St. Helena Vineyard series are also 99c!
Frankie Baudouin has a hundred reasons not to trust Nate DeLuca. First, he’s a DeLuca. Second, he kissed her—in front of the entire town—and then never called. Oh, and he’s after her land. Sorrento Ranch is Frankie’s last chance to prove to her family—and to herself—that she has what it takes to be an award-winning winemaker. And she will stop at nothing to ensure her success—even if it means playing nice with the starched, sophisticated, and oh-so-sexy Italian.
For Nate, Sorrento Ranch is more than just soil and grape vines; it was his father’s dream—a dream Nate is determined to make a reality. So when he finds himself forced to cohabitate with a hot-headed, irrational, and incredibly gorgeous Baudouin, Nate is surprised to discover that chaos could be so much fun—especially when she sleeps in nothing but lace.

Does anyone else think it’s funny that Wrong number, right woman was reviewed yesterday and then today Wrong number, right guy is on sale?
@Debbie: Teagan Hunter and Tara Wylde also both wrote books titled WRONG NUMBER, RIGHT GUY. Not to mention Laurie Campbell’s WRONG TWIN, RIGHT MAN, or Katee Robert’s WRONG BED, RIGHT GUY. I could go on….Let’s face it, there are a lot of Wrongs and Rights in Romancelandia.
There are a surprising number of seeming Rights that are totally Wrong IRL. (Cough. USA)
Alyssa Cole “Let Us Dream” is FREE at Kobo and Amazon at this moment.
Novella, Setting: 1917 Harlem.
Trigger Warning as it is about elections, and that might be a sensitive subject right now.
There are 3 Vote Then Read Anthology volumes out until 11/8. “Vote Then Read – Volumes 1, 2, and 3 – are available from November 2nd – 8th, 2020. All proceeds for this boxed set collection will go toward wildfire relief in California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.” They’re huge. Vol. 1 is 3368 pages.
@Allison – Where can I find those anthologies?
Well, not a complaint, but an observation. You apologise to Nook and other readers, but never UK or non US readers. I love this site but many times these books are not on sale in the UK
@Gill: We’ve apologized for our geo-restrictions previously, though you may have missed it. We are unable to see sale prices outside the US and have to rely on second hand reports, which some folks will drop in the comments.
@Terrierhead: I just went to the Kindle Store and searched for “Vote then Read” and all three volumes showed up in the search results. Each volume was 99-cents.
@DiscoDollyDeb Thank you! I bought all three anthologies,
