Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe by Heather Webber is $2.99 and part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals! This seems to be women’s fiction with some magical realism and yummy food descriptions. Seeing as I love Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen a lot, this should be right up my alley, but I’ve been hesitant to add it to my TBR.

Discretion by Karina Halle is $1.99 at Amazon! This is the first book in The Dumonts series. Halle writes a lot of rags to riches romance, if that’s your catnip, but it also has a lot of billionaire heroes (which I know many of us aren’t interested in for our romantic leads). Bad Neighbor by M. O’Keefe is $2.99 on Amazon! I know Molly O’Keefe is an autobuy for some readers. This is a darker contemporary romance. Some readers thought the hero was a bit of a jerk. However, others liked the shy, artistic heroine. It’s also a bit on the erotic side in terms of sexual content.
He’s sexy. He’s dangerous. He’s right next door.

BAD NEIGHBOR is very good but you will want to read the sequel, BABY COME BACK, because O’Keefe does a very clever thing and makes the villain of BAD NEIGHBOR the hero in BABY COME BACK. Also, BAD NEIGHBOR was one of the first romances I read that contained subtle hints that the hero is bi.
Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe is SO good and worth a read.
