Winner update: Congratulations to Crcala! Stay tuned for more giveaways!

Leslie Langtry’s, “Make-Believe Murder”.
This year I’ve read all three of Tessa Dare’s Girl Meets Duke series and they have all made me laugh and smile.
Phoenix Unbound by Grace Draven
That one early anecdote about the locals in EVVIE DRAKE STARTS OVER made me hysterical!
Sapphire Flames by Ilona Andrews.
I loved the original trilogy and it was great to revisit that world.
Intercepted by Alexa Martin. Not a perfect book but I enjoyed it enough to stay up late trying to finish it.
How to be a Movie Star by TJ Klune’s…and actually pretty much anything by Klune that I read or re-read this year. Also really enjoyed all of the R Cooper books I read. Her books always leave me with a happy smile.
“Red, White & Royal Blue” by Casey McQuiston.
I just finished The Blacksmith Queen (by GA Aiken) which was ridiculos in a good way like all her books 🙂 definitely feel good reading.
Loretta Chase’s “Dressmakers” series!
Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
In a Badger Way & The Blacksmith Queen by Shelly Laurenston/GA Aiken
Also discovered Nikki Winter this year. If you like Shelly Laurenston, you should read Nikki Winter!
All of the Chronicles of St Mary’s had me laughing, sometimes giggling, sometimes crying. If there was a wacky to achieve something, they found it and chose it.
But especially: An Argumentation of Historians (The Chronicles of St Mary’s #9) by Jodi Taylor
Adler by Jessica Gadziala. Love ALL the Henchmen!
Wolf Song by TJ Klune. The beauty of the characters and story had me full on ugly crying!
I just finished Frankly in Love by David Yoon. Funny and serious.
Tessa Dare’s The Wallflower Wager
The Bluewater Billionaires series made me laugh quite a bit! My favorite was Wide Open Hearts.
Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston! 🙂
Anything by Dana Marie Bell makes me laugh. I went on a reread bingo of her books this year.
I loved Hounded by Kevin Hearne. Atticus’s dog, Oberon and his need for sausages and poodles. LOL
So many! Most recently, Puppy Christmas by Lucy Gilmore
Sarah Maclean’s Brazen and the Beast. I absolutely adored Hattie!
I didn’t read many light-hearted books this year. I did do a re-read of Jodi Taylor’s The Chronicles of St. Mary’s series–it makes me want to laugh one minute then cry the next. (Not sure this counts.)
I discovered TJ Klune this year. There is at least one part in each of his books that makes me laugh out loud.
(NOT ENTERING today, but…) Damn, that’s one sparkly vulva of a Kate Spade bag! To the winner: wear it with pride & joy! Happy Hanukkah, Sarah, etc.!
A Duke In Disguise, Cat Sebastian. The whole bit about the hairpins just made me smile.
The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
Kiwi Rules by Rosalind James.
Ilona Andrews Sapphire Flames. I just gulped it down and there are always laugh out loud bits in her books even though they are mostly quite dramatic.
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston had me smiling and laughing consistently!
It definitely wasn’t published this year, but I read Cold Comfort Farm this year and enjoyed the snark. Was snark a concept in the 30s? Would that make it proto-snark?
The Wallflower Wager and The Bride Test.
I love me some Charlotte Stein. Power Play comes to mind.
When We Believed in Mermaids by Barbara O’Neal was so good. And that is such an adorable bag! Thanks for the chance.
I really liked Ten Things My Cat Hates About You by Lottie Lucas!
I am so happy Julie Anne Long is back with a new historical series, “Lady Deering Takes a Lover” was so much fun, I was either smiling or laughing through most of it.
Thanks for the chance!
I LOVED “The Flatshare” by Beth O’Leary. It was funny and sweet and I basked in the awkward moments and slow build up of their romance. I was so sad when I finished just because I had enjoyed it so much and was left with a book hangover.
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
I read at least 50 books this year, and I can only remember a handful. One that made me smile is the Right Swipe by Alisha Rai.
Act Like It by Lucy Parker
