I’ve been trying to find a NA book I read years ago and am drawing a blank. Searching online with my keywords get me nowhere, and my ebook library is no help.
He’s a “manwhore” who is interested in the heroine, but still hooks up with strangers. He sees someone on campus, takes her back to his apartment and they have sex on the couch. All I remember clearly is he tells the heroine (who knows what he did) that his daughter would have better morals than to hook up with a guy like him. He judged the women he slept with for being so sexually liberated.
Please help! A friend of mine challenged me to find the least redemptive “hero” possible, and this guy fits the bill.
He sounds like a real peach.

Yeah, the Sheik is pretty awful – it’s been a guilty pleasure of mine because I like non-con romances BUT during my most recent re-reading I realized the heroine was just enduring the sex – I like stories where at least the non-con partner is enjoying the sex. I was horrified – I had always been filling that in myself. And the racism! I will say, I have read some Japanese romances online and Sheiks are a trope there – so this book started a WORLDWIDE TREND of kidnapping sheiks. It’s like the number of dukes in England problem – how are there enough sheiks to kidnap folks from around the world?

OMG – I have been looking for this book for years because I couldn’t believe it was real. It was more horrific than you remember – her boyfriend dumps her for being assaulted! And he has a sister who was gang-raped which has pretty much turned the sister into a nymphomaniac.
