This is the second book in the Phoenix Rising series and some readers say it might be best to read the previous book.

Absolutely loved WAGs series by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. Clever writing, heartwarming, seriously steamy with several laugh out loud moments. Thoroughly enjoyed and Good Boy went right onto my 2017 Favourites List with an A rating. This book is exactly what I am looking for in Contemporary Romance. Highly recommend.

Dog?

I hear you, @Kris. I’ve had to stare at that cover to figure out what is pictured.
I need to know more about the dog prior to making a decision on Good Boy. I will be super sad if I’m expecting extensive dog content and don’t get it.
@cbackson Yeah I just finished it today and there is very little dog content. The hero gets a dog in the last chapters.
Plus the actual dog is a brown puppy so not only is it a weird cover it’s inaccurate.
Just want to warn anyone who has an allergy to heroes who think they know better than the heroine what she needs or wants. Good Boy is a cute light read but I was seriously taken out of the story thinking that his behavior might be cute in s novel but not so much in real life .
