Links: Just Cute Stuff

Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses.Hi there! Welcome to Wednesday Links!

I don’t know about you but I’ve been needing to turn my brain off for a bit and I’d thought I’d collect some adorable and sweet things from around the internet, in case you all feel the same way.

This story of a man introducing is late-grandmother to Dungeons and Dragons made me cry in the best way. Be sure to read through the entire thread!

Usually, I don’t get too invested in the love lives of celebrities and athletes, but I completely lost my mind at this engagement and the subsequent profile. Congratulations to Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban!

If you love management games, there’s a Kickstarter up for dog shelter simulator called To the Rescue and I’ve backed it. It looks incredibly fun and I can’t wait to give all these great doggos fantastic homes.

We discussed our love for the web comic, Lore Olympus, before and the creator has made a dreamcast of her characters. Some great choices on the list and I definitely know who I’d love to play Persephone out of the choices.

When I need some reassurance, I turn to this video:

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!

Little kids are the best – if they are going to get praise for something, then they think you should get it too. I remember when my sister was toilet training my niece and we were at the mall. We went to the restroom and they went into one stall, I went into another. All of a sudden I hear “Great job Mommy!” 🙂

OK, so I’m not much of a sports fan, except when it comes to the Montreal Canadiens (the Habs). And P.K. Subban was one of my favourite players – I was so disappointed when he was traded to NJ. He is such a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person – I’m so happy that he is getting his HEA! Thank you for sharing that story.

I loved everything about the Grandma DnD thread. Also my heart .
