Readers are divided on the hero. He’s a bit of a jerk in this book. Some felt he had a worthy redemption arc, though others disagreed.

Rosewater by Tade Thompson is $2.99! This book has been part of the “bookhood of the traveling recommendations” in one of my book groups. One of our members recommended it, then someone read on that recommendation, then another person picked it up based on that recommendation. It’s sci-fi set in Nigeria and though it’s part of a trilogy, it doesn’t end on too much of a cliffhanger.

I read Rosewater and it is amaaaaazing! It’s also the first part of a trilogy.
