Time for a fun, zippy giveaway!
This week, we’ll be running a giveaway for three (3) Withings watches! If you didn’t get lucky in any of our past Withings giveaways, perhaps you’ll win this time!
We have two Withings Move trackers, and one Steel HR to give away to three lucky winners!
The Withings Move trackers are new, and boy, are they pretty:
The Withings Move features up to 18 months of battery life, activity and sleep tracking, and, with that little dial on the front, daily step count.
We have two of the Withings Move trackers to give away! But wait, there’s more!
We also have one Withings Steel HR to give away, too!
The Withings Steel HR retails for $179.99, and here are some additional specs about what this tracker can do:
- Smartphone compatibility with Android and iOS.
- Receives smartphone notifications.
- Water resistant up to 50m.
- 25 days of battery life.
- Heart rate and other fitness monitoring.
- Compatible app for fitness tracking.
I really like doing giveaways for Withings trackers because they’re gorgeous and, more importantly, I love mine. I know what time it is (which I NEVER know on my own) and I know about how far I have to go to reach my step goal. And with the step dial on the face of the watch, I know at a glance how far I have to go.
I’ve also noticed that I’ve built up a habit of making sure I reach that goal. That dude Drucker was totally right: what gets measured, gets managed.
During a previous Withings giveaway, Joanne, one of our prior Withings Watch winners, emailed Amanda and gave us permission to share her comments!
I didn’t want to comment on the giveaway post but wanted to thank SBTB again – I was a previous winner of the HR version and it really is a nice watch!
I appreciate that it gives me phone notifications, so I can just subtly glance at my watch if it vibrates to see if I need to actually grab my phone or not. (Screen my calls? Who, me?)
So thanks again to SBTB and Withings!
Yay!
(And yes, I use mine to screen calls, too.)
Before we get to the giveaway terms, we want to offer a huge thank you Susie Felber, who is also known in the Romance universe as “Edith Layton’s daughter.” She works for Withings, and has provided the prizes for us. Thanks, Susie! Cheers!

Withings Move Basic Essentials White & Coral and 80s music
First of all – thank you, Bitches and Susie for your generosity.
Onto the contest: while the Move Trackers ARE stunning, I’d prefer the Steel HR because of its water resistancy. It’ll be great for water aerobics, plus its capabilities are incentives for me to start swimming laps (I’ve made and broken that promise to myself a few times in the past two years). I think I’d like to listen to some audiobooks read by Richard Armitage, since his name pops up in every SBTB post on favorite audiobook narrators.
Withings Steel HR
I like to listen to albums while I workout. I like the continuity of listening to the same person or same band the whole time.
The Steel HR looks gorgeous. I have the Kate Daniels books on audio. Everyone raves about them and I need to buckle down and listen.
The Steel Hr and I’d be listening to my backlog of Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me podcasts. I’m far too behind on my dose of hilarity!
The Steel HR (Screen my calls from my wrist? Yes, please.)
I usually walk while listening to favorite audiobooks (I hope hoopla’s not judging me for the number of times I’ve listened to Act Like It or the first three books in Anne Cleeland’s Doyle & Acton series), but lately I’m listening to The Adventure Zone podcast.
@Betsydub: While I was playing around with all the customization options on the Withings site (’cause I couldn’t resist — so many options!), I saw that the Move is also water resistant to 50 m, and they say, good for swimming, showering, and snorkeling.
As for me, both watches have their appeal. I like the heart rate monitoring on the Steel HR, but I also like that the Move is customizable down to the color of the tracker hand!
For which podcast, the SB one of course! Although to be honest, I also like reading the transcript, and I have yet to manage walking and reading at the same time. (I’m all admiration for those who can read while on the treadmill!)
Got my eye on the black Withings Move. Was watching a rerun of Graham Norton’s show and Stephen Fry mentioned a podcast he was doing called Victorian Secrets, so that’s probably what I’ll be listening to.
Podcasts from mike Duncan’s series “history of Rome” and “revolutions”. Steel hr if, possible, (fingers n toes crossed) for water use.
Please don’t make me choose! I like ALL of the above and if I won I would probably listen to the Brandenburgs or Georgette Heyer audiobooks while tracking my steps to the bus stop. Like Lorene I have all the Kate Daniels audios too and I like SBTB podcasts.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’m loving the Move Tracker. What would I listen to? My newest Audibe book Besotted with the Viscount by Susanna Malcolm
Podcasts all the way! The more murdery, the better–keeps you moving faster on that sketchy road you thought looked “interesting.” I’d love the black tracker—so pretty! Thank you SB Sarah and Susie for the giveaway!
I would be happy with either watch but the Move one would help me reach my steps goal. Besides the SBTB podcasts, I listen to the The Oath. I admire Chuck Rosenberg’s concise way of explaining the law.
Steel HR is already on my wishlist! And I’ll be listening to podcasts – more arrive every week than I can keep up with.
Steel HR because swimming is my walking. Currently listening to Theodora Goss’s “The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter” and LOVING it!
Wonderful products! I would love the Withings Steel HR. I try to swim for an hour (weather permitting). I also like to hike longer distances. The water resistant feature and fitness monitoring would be helpful. I also like the connection to a Smartphone.
I would listen to music and audiobooks. I currently have several romance books by Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery, Lisa Kleypas and Julianne MacLean ready to go. As for music, I range from 60’s and 70’s to classic, to pop, to pop country, to alternative, to classical…
The steel HR because those specs sound great! I would listen to podcasts.I’ve tried to get into audiobooks. But I find my mind wanders and then I have to keep rewinding (dating myself!) to make sure I didn’t miss anything important. With podcasts Im able to be more present.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love the Move in black. And I’d definitely listen to audiobooks, I just subscribed to a new service for them.
The Steel HR but I’m not picky. Withings are Withings and totally worthy! I’m an audio book listener and go through a book about every two days. It’d be great for my marathon rereads of favorite series when a new release comes out! (Nalini Singh x 2, J.D. Robb, Ilona Andrews x 2, etc)
SBTB is the best! Thanks.
A Withings Move would be fab! A watch that has a tagline of “all you need to do is sleep” is totally my jam! *grins*
Steel HR please! I’d listen to the SBTB podcast or NPR’s Ask Me Another – it’s a quiz show with many terrible puns.
The Steel HR sounds great. And I would listen to one of my favorite playlists because singing along makes me forget that I’m exercising.
I love both styles, but that Steel one is so sleek! I’m a huge podcast and audiobook listener.
I really like the move trackers, though the steel HR is pretty too. I have to have music to exercise, I can’t listen to people talk.
You are right, the withings move is pretty darn pretty and I’d really love to wear one while I listen to my music. As much as I love podcasts and audio books, when I’m outside walking I need to be able to track the environment around me.
I’d like any of them!
Listening while moving – well, my kiddo has turned me into a birder so usually when I’m out walking I’m listening to, and looking for, birds.
But I might also listen to some uptempo playlists or to podcasts.
Withings Move navy face, navy band. If I’m walking, I’m watching & listening to the world around me. It’s my disconnect time. We have lovely a trail along the river that used to be train tracks. It goes through forest preserves, backyards, towns. It’s an amazing place to walk and appreciate where you are.
The Steel HR is gorgeous, sedate and not bubbly (though I’d take any of them, really). As always, I will listen either to a book (Audible library tops 900 titles) or Spotify and my addiction to 70s/80s music.
The Move sounds like an impressive enough little device — I could use a sleep tracker!
Audiobooks aren’t my thing, so I listen to podcasts and music when I’m moving around sewing, gardening, and walking around town.
I’d love to win the steel! I’d probably listen to my Pandora thumbprint station. Lots of Irish teas music!
The sleek look of the Steel HR really appeals to me, plus I like having HR tracking. I listen to audiobooks constantly and try to mix it up by throwing in some podcasts.
I like the Withings Steel HR. I would listen to The Hollows series by Kim Harrison. I have 2 more books to finish. Can’t wait for the new one to come out.
Thank you so much for the chance to win this.
I would like the Withings Move Basic Essentials White & Sea Blue and I would listen to my favorite podcast: My Brother, My Brother, and Me.
Withings Steel HR
What I would listen to: Serial podcast (I know, I am late)
Withings Move! I love the colour options. I don’t listen to anything. I try to build more walking into everyday – get off a bus stop early, walk to a different connection. If I do walk purposefully, like today, I want to walk in an interesting area and enjoy it. I suppose that means I listen to my environment.
I love listening to music. I leave my streaming service on and the playlist ends up super swing dance music heavy but it’s got a great beat to walk to. I have tried listening to audiobooks but then I forget to walk.
I would choose the Steel HR, but the Move would also be amazing. I would be thrilled with either. As to what I would listen to, I’d like to find some great podcasts – the Wait Wait sounds awesome. I’m not an audiobook fan because I’m very much a visual learner; I lose too much of the plot. Tanks for the opportunity!
Steel HR. I listen to audiobooks, podcasts (SBTB, Big Gay Fiction Podcast, Ted Talks) , if walking outside, cleaning house, mowing lawn. I read Kindle if walking on treadmill – or watch DVRd shows or movies on demand if using rower. I listen to music( 90s, current dance music) when my brain is tried and I just want to zone out.
I like the blue banded ones. Either the white face of the Move or the black face of the HR. They look so classy!
I listen to podcasts and audiobooks pretty much every day while I work. I like true crime, humor, food, storytelling. My list is so long! One I particularly like is Snap Judgment. It’s always thought-provoking.
I really like that blue and white one but I am not picky. For a variety of reasons I’ve gained a lot of weight over the last two years, which is depressing, and one reason is my walk distances have really fallen off since 2016. Trying to get back into it. I track exercise with the Heath app on my phone so this would be a real step up.
I listen to audiobooks while walking my dog, and right now I’m on the library hold list for the book that comes right after Silver Silence (Nalini Singh). Forgot the name!
