Next week, on April 11, I’ll be moderating a discussion with Sally Thorne, Tracey Livesay, and Mia Sosa at East City Books in Washington, DC. Woo hoo!
First, if you’re in the area, please come! It’s free and open to the public, and we’ll be starting at 6:30. I’m pretty sure the closest Metro station is Eastern Market, but I may be wrong about that (I’m not entirely fluent in Metro directions).
The title of the panel (which I really like) is Upbeat Fiction for Unpredictable Times, and while I was prepping for my moderation assignment, it occurred to me that maybe y’all have some questions you’d like me to ask?
So! Please consider yourself invited to suggest questions for the panel!
I am doing my prep work this week for moderating, and while I have a number of things I want to ask, I’d be delighted to know what you’d like to learn more about. I’m sure this will be a terrific conversation, too. I hope, if you’re local, you can attend!
You can leave your question in the comments, or you can drop your suggestion right here, if you’d prefer not to comment:
Thank you in advance!
The shop is almost across the street from the Eastern Market metro! It’s my neighborhood shop so I’m planning to be there.
i can’t seem to think of a good question but this event sounds fantastic!
