The holidays are over and spring is upon us. That means we’re all trying to get in the cleaning spirit, especially when it comes to books. We’d love to pass along some of them to all of you! And by some, we mean boxes. Yes, boxes!
We have five (5) boxes of books to giveaway! More boxes may be added.
We can promise the books included are absolutely new, finished copies, unread, and printed on paper. We can also promise there will be at least five books, possibly more, in each box.
Each box will have a mix of subgenres. Genres include contemporary, historical, thrillers, and paranormal romance, too. While we hope the box you receive contains a subgenre or author you enjoy, we also have our fingers crossed that you’ll love trying something new. And as always, our mission statement is to share the love and share the romance.
To enter, comment below with your favorite book you’ve read so far in 2019!

Fave romance was Huge Deal by Lauren Layne (she always seems to save my favorite heroes/heroines for the last!), and my favorite non-romance book was Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
Not a great reading year yet but have read some books I enjoyed. I think Overnight Sensation by Bowen and The Girl He Used to Know by Graves are the top of the list. Did enjoy them.
Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Series. I have read every series written by the duo except for Kate Daniels. I know I will enjoy it too much and fall down the series rabbit hole for a few months.
The Gown: A Novel of the Royal Wedding by Jennifer Robson. Now I want to read a non-fiction book about the actual dress!!!
Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Series, One Fell Sweep. I have read every series written by the duo except for Kate Daniels. I know I will enjoy it too much and fall down the series rabbit hole for a few months.
Untouched by MA Innes
So far, my favorite is Courtney Milan’s Mrs.Martin’s Incomparable Adventure. But I am very much looking forward to Slyssa Cole’s A Prince on Paper.
The Risk by Elle Kennedy. Although sounds like I need to read Polaris Rising. I actually just returned the paperback copy to the library because I have a huge TBR pile and I put the ebook on hold.
My favorite this year so far is Where the Crawdads Sing.
I reread The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata. I liked it even more the second time round.
A Dangerous Collaboration by Deanna Raybourn is probably my fav so far
Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman and Hour of the Lion by Cherise Sinclair
I really enjoyed Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal. I finished it after a slew of unsatisfying reads.
Mine has to be ‘No Kitten Around’ – party of a series of “Magical romantic comedies with a body count”
The Devilish Duke – Maddison Michaels (had me laughing out loud, gasping with shock and even shouting along!)
My favorite book of 2019 so far is In a Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston. I love Ms Laurenston’s writing. It’s always a potent mix of guaranteed laughter & amazing sex. I try to make it last, but I always end up devouring a new book by her in 2 days or less!
So far, it’s the book I’m currently reading, Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski. So interesting, and well written!
Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid…couldn’t put it down!
My favourite this year has been Naomi Novik’s Uprooted, which I got for Christmas, on recommendation of SBTB!
I’m probably behind because I think this came out a few years ago — but I really enjoyed Sonali Dev’s The Bollywood Bride.
Polaris Rising was fun. And my current favorite.
I’ve had a somewhat slower reading year so far with lots of books that are outside of romance but my favourites were romance adjacent. I really enjoyed the To all the Boys I’ve loved Before trilogy and while Still Me by Jojo Moyes (the last of the Me Before you trilogy) was generally slammed I thought it kept to the spirit of who Louisa was when she met Will and it was lovely.
Not from this year, but I read it this year- How to be a Normal Person by TJ Klune
Historical fiction is my jam – The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff was my favorite book of 2019 so far, hands down. I devoured it, then tracked down the non-fiction book about the real women in the book, and then a few more books in the genre …. it just didn’t stop, for about two months. (Then I had to take a break because, sadness.) I am amazed by these women’s bravery and fearlessness.
I just finished Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas, and I loved it. Smart lady doctor heroine and the somewhat tortured Irish spy who falls for her? Yes please!
I finally read The Hating Game and it was adorable.
My fav romance of 2019 so far is The Disgraceful Lord Gray by Virginia Heath. Thanks for the giveaway!
The Son & His Hope by Pepper Winters. Thanks for the chance!
Lisa Kleypas Devil’s Daughter.
American Street by Ibi Zoboi
I haven’t read any books this year that has blown me over backwards. At the moment I’m reading Secondborn by Amy A. Bartol and that might be the best so far – depending on how it ends. And I did like Tikka Chance on Me.
Favourite book of 2019
“The Hollow of Fear” by Sherry Thomas and “Someone to wed” by Mary Balogh
My favorite book so far this year (and will probably remain so for the rest if the year too) is 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
Polaris Rising! And I would never have found it if not for this website. So thank you, SBTB, for all you do!
Not my normal genre, but I was fascinated by Educated by Tara Westover.
I’ve been in a reading slump, so nothing has stood out to me so far this year.
To Catch A Rogue by Bec McMaster
Ship It by Britta Lundin
I recently finished Heresy by Melissa Lenhardt. It was a great ‘burn down the patriarchy’ read, and I loved the strong female friendship/family. I teared up a few times in between shootouts and robberies!
Just finished Spacer’s Cinderella by Adria Rose….really, really enjoyed it! ( And it’s available on KU!)
