Another Spring Cleaning: A Grab Bag Giveaway

Cup of coffee and yarn for knitting on plaid with books close-upThe holidays are over and spring is upon us. That means we’re all trying to get in the cleaning spirit, especially when it comes to books. We’d love to pass along some of them to all of you! And by some, we mean boxes. Yes, boxes!

We have five (5) boxes of books to giveaway! More boxes may be added.

We can promise the books included are absolutely new, finished copies, unread, and printed on paper. We can also promise there will be at least five books, possibly more, in each box.

Each box will have a mix of subgenres. Genres include contemporary, historical, thrillers, and paranormal romance, too. While we hope the box you receive contains a subgenre or author you enjoy, we also have our fingers crossed that you’ll love trying something new. And as always, our mission statement is to share the love and share the romance.

    How to Be a Normal Person by TJ Klune has been my favorite book so far this year. He was a new to me author, and I can’t remember that last time I laughed so much while reading a book. Since then I’ve also read How To Be a Movie Star, which was also enjoyable.

    as with most of you, I read so much I can hardly keep everything straight. This weekend, I found myself re-reading – and enjoying the second time around – A Marriage of Opposites and Indiscreet (Mary Balough!!). I would recommend them both highly.

    Ronin Lahren’s The Ones Who Got Away. I want to continue with the series, but I know I need to digest this one for awhile first.

    My favorite book I’ve read so far in 2019 is far and away A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert. What an incredible author. I’ve since read 3 more of her books and I cannot get enough!

    I’d have to say my favourite book I’ve read this year has been Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay but I’m reading Bad Blood by John Carreyrou at the moment and it is all kinds of crazy and TRUE and I am loving every minute of it! Looking forward to something a little lighter next though!

    I’m reading “Ayesha At Last” by Uzma Jalaluddin. It was gifted to me on Saturday and I am halfway through it. It’s a Muslim Indian-Canadian retelling of “Pride & Prejudice” and so much fun.

    My favorite book do far this year is : ” Welcome to Castle Cove” by Kory Shroom . This book has a lot of suspence, mystery, lots of twists & turns too!! I could not put this book down! If you’re looking for a new read/author; pick this gem up.

    I’m on a reading rampage this year and picking just one is a wee bit difficult. So, I’ll go for two! I fell in love with Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom this year. The comprehensive world building, intricate plotting and compelling characters kept me rooting for the sometimes not-so-perfect heroes.

    I finally read The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley and feel in love with the whole Mackenzie clan. Overnight Sensation by Sarina Bowen has been a highlight, too!
