Another Spring Cleaning: A Grab Bag Giveaway

  5. Kathryn says:

I’ve loved all three of Jane Harper’s books, but especially the Lost Man. After having a baby, being off on maternity leave and then returning to work, I felt like I had a 30 second attention span zero time to read. But when I picked up her books, I started making the time to read again.

  6. StarlingSong says:

The Blue Castle by L Montgomery has been my favourite read of this year so far – cant believe I hadn’t read it sooner!

The Kiss Quotient. I don’t usually like contemporaries, but I enjoyed this one.

Circe, Spinning Silver, or the Kiss Quotient.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.

  16. E.C.E. says:

    Two favorites so far:

The Woman of Colour, an anonymously published epistolary novel from the early 1800s (found it on a list of Jane Austen read-alikes featuring POC.)

As If! The Oral History of Clueless as Told by Amy Heckerling and the Cast and Crew.

  17. MollyM says:

I really enjoyed reading Jane Doe by Victoria Helen Stone.

  18. Keely says:

I have way more than 2 faves, but my most recent top shelf books are The Kiss Quotient (listening to it kept me sane while my stepdad was in the hospital having emergency surgery) and Perfect Day by Sally Malcolm.

  19. Linda Leonard says:

My favorite so far this year has been “The Lost Girls of Paris” by Pam Jenoff.

  20. Qualisign says:

Read Mihalik’s (2019) “Polaris Rising” and Sinclair’s (2005) “Finders Keepers” back to back and found them surprisingly similar. Possibly marginally preferred “Finders Keepers.” Toss up between that and TJ Klune’s “How to Be a Normal Person,” which I actually purchased (a rare event for me) for rereading.

  21. Ann says:

Becoming by Michelle Obama – not romance, but a wonderful biography

  22. Katie Lynn says:

The Remaking of Corbin Wale by Roan Parrish. It’s been out a while but I just read it and loved it.

  23. Jikie says:

A Touch of Flame by Jo Goodman!

  24. Elizabeth says:

Not a romance, but The Collected Schizophrenias by Esmé Wang was amazing, and I can’t stop recommending it. The author has such an honest and compassionate voice.

  25. Kristine Schmucker says:

This Scot of Mine- Sophie Jordan

  26. Kris says:

This Scot of Mine- Sophie Jordan

  27. Lydia Manni says:

My favorite book so far in 2019 is The Pilot & the Puck-Up by Pippa Grant. I just love to cackle out loud while reading a book!

I also am really enjoying the Cormoran Strike series by “Robert Galbraith” (aka JK Rowling). The series isn’t marketed as romance but I love the relationship between Cormoran and Robin.
