Happy Seventh Night of Hanukkah!
Today’s prize is all about keeping you warm, content, and comfortable, and features an item hand-knit by Elyse!
Are you ready to get hella-cozy? I hope so!
Today’s prize is:
A hand-knit shawl in a deep blue with a gorgeous enamel button, made by Elyse:

Close up of the button? Sure! It’s adorable:

What does this shawl look like when worn? Hold on to your shoulders because it’s wonderful.
This shawl is the Sasha Wrap by Sarah Smuland, and the pattern is on Ravelry.

The yarn is Blue Sky Fibers Techno in Tranquil, a deep blue color. The yarn is a mix of 68% baby alpaca / 22% silk / 10% extra fine merino. It’s incredibly soft and warm.
We’re pairing this with A Kindle e-Reader!Â
This Kindle has a 6″ touch screen with eInk text, and comes with WiFi, build-in Audible capabilities, and includes special offers.
And, to keep you warm from head to toe, we’re also adding a pair of plush-lined cable-knit slipper socks in fuzzy pink:

These socks are for women’s shoe sizes 4-10 (US), and are made of acrylic and polyester. They have plastic skid spots on the bottoms so you don’t slip. You’ll be hella toasty, right? I hope so.

I just get a fluffy blanket and a book and curl up in bed 🙂 (And also stuff my face with food)
thick fuzzy socks & shoes, a mug of nice, hot tea, and a hat.
54th-ing tea and blankets!
In bed with the covers up to my nose and a cup of tea!
I make a cup of lemon tea and a blanket and cuddle with my dogs and my nook on the couch while the snow falls outside the window.
Those all look wonderful! My favorite way to get cozy is curled up on the couch with a mug of tea or cocoa, and a good book, of course. Bonus points if the husband and ferrets are snuggled up nearby
Cuddled under a blanket in front of a roaring fire place, reading a romance novel!
Snuggle up on the sofa with a quilt my mom made.
A warm fuzzy blanket and some hot chocolate always works for me! Thanks so much for all the amazing giveaway opportunities this week.
Hot chocolate, a beautiful fire and a book.
Super original, but I like a hot drink ( tea or hot chocolate ) and lots of blankets. Especially one that I can pull over my head.
faux shearling slippers!
Cozy is hot chocolate, long underwear and wrapped in an afghan blanket in front of an electric fireplace.
After a hot bath, I don my husband’s enveloping bathrobe and have hot lemon with honey.
Currently, I get cozy by putting on an amazing fleecy hooded tunic/vest I got at a clothing exchange, huddling awkwardly in front of the electric fireplace, book or laptop in front of me, warm broth or (trendy yet practical) Golden Milk at the ready. It’s all surprisingly comfortable, I promise!
A book
2 elderly puppies(the snores!so comforting)
A warm fuzzy blanket.
Socks
Sweats
Mug of hot cocoa/coffee
Some music
Recliner
I love snuggling under a warm blanket, with a cup of hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps, reading a book in front of the fire!
A cosy blanket and cup of tea curled up on the sofa!
Cozy blanket, couch with feather pillows, double-paned windows overlooking snow, books… so many books… candles… :swoon:
Coziness = a cup of tea + a fuzzy blanket + a cat (or two) + a good book 🙂
Cuddling up with a mountain of fluffy blankets. I cant tell you how pictures exist out there of me burrito-ed up or just peeking out under a mound of blankets
I’ve recently discovered the wonders of wearing hoodies to bed (the years of comfort wasted!). Give me a hoodie, a warm beverage, soft sheets and a book and I’m good.
Pajamas, about 3000 throw pillows on the couch, a fuzzy blanket even in the summer, and one hand on a book, the other on the stereo remote.
Oh my goodness Elyse, that shawl is beautiful!
My fav way to get cozy is to wrap up in as much wool as possible – preferably with a book in hand!
There is nothing cozier than reading with a grandchild on your lap.
Nothing is cozier than wrapping up in the super soft blanket my sister gave me last year, while drinking coffee and reading all day. (Well, add a roaring fire while it snows outside would be even more cozy, but it’s SoCal and I haven’t got a fireplace, so… )
I want that scarf so much!
We just got a new couch this year, so cozy has a new name in my house, and that name is sectional. The corner seat, wrapped in the living room blanket, is the snuggliest place in the world.
Yesterday, we fired up our fireplace for the first time this year, and I sat by it reading Mary Balogh and drinking tea. Truly my happy place.
I grab some fuzzy socks, fleece blanket and my iPad!
Reading something happy under a fleece blanket, with my tiny poodle asleep in my lap!
