  1. Naomi says:

Heartland by Sarah Smarsh. Not as much trashy as about purported white trash but a good read nonetheless!

  2. Harmonyb says:

I read several amazing books but I have to go with Jane Doe by Victoria Helen Stone. It was just so cathartic and I really needed that this year.

  3. Heather RR says:

Anything and everything by Talia Hibbert!

  4. Holly G says:

My recommendations I’ve made this year to friends are The KIss Quotient by Helen Honang and The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory. They are great romances which diverse, likable, and realistic characters and like Bet Me -a great introduction to individuals not certain what to read in romance or are casual readers of romance.

  5. Ashley Amaral says:

    Tessa dare!!

  6. Kim says:

She Has Her Mother’s Laugh by Carl Zimmer (Not a Romance) – great engaging stories about human genetics. (I teach high school biology, so I might have a bit of a bias.)

I’m also in the middle of reading Lie to Me by JT Ellison. Very suspenseful, and I like it much more than Gone Girl.

  7. Cristie says:

The Bones Beneath My Skin by TJ Klune.

  8. PatriciaM says:

Hard to pick one but Magic Triumphs was a book I waited a year to read and it was worth the wait.

Luck of the Draw and Best of Luck by Kate Clayborn!

  15. Melissandre says:

  16. Carmin says:

As a nice Italian girl from New Jersey, it has to be Wrecking Ball by P. Dangelico.

  17. Kathy R says:

The Sins of Lord Lockwood by Meredith Duran. A 5* read!

  18. Heather says:

Ides of April by Lindsey Davis. It’s about a lady detective in ancient Rome.
