After the Weddig by Courtney Milan- all of the Worth saga was my favorite read of the last year!
Something True by Karelia Stetz-Waters. It was a very enjoyable book and made me want to move to Portland.

“Someone to Care” by Mary Balogh. OK, the whole Westcott series. OK, everything the woman has ever written, or will write.
I loved everything by Grace Draven this year- she started a new series with Phoenix Unbound, and I think a couple other novellas either came out or were re-released as standalones this year, and I love them all.
Not straight-up romance, but I loved “Iron and Magic” by Ilona Andrews. Can’t wait for more!
Strongly recommend Ella Field’s BLOODSTAINED BEAUTY which works as a subversion of many standard romance tropes. Well-written with an escalating tension that will have you simultaneously dreading turning the next page and being completely unable not to keep reading.
I read a Splendid Defiance by Stella Riley. It was incredible! Its an older book, but I’d never even heard of it before and I’m so glad I stumbled across it. A very well researched, very well written romance between a Puritan girl and royalist soldier during the English Civil War. Highly recommend!
An obvious choice but one I have actually recommended: Helen Hoang’s The Kiss Quotient!
I have to go with Jane Doe by Victoria Helen Stone. A book I enjoyed so much I read it, then listened to the audio version less than a month later.

Look Alive Twenty-Five by Janet Evanovich. Can’t believe we’re on #25. Yes, this series is probably played out, but #25 actually made me laugh several times.
The first to come to mind was Susan Mallery’s Not Quite Over You.

My recommendation for a 2018 release is Ilona Andrews’s Iron and Magic. I can’t believe they pulled it off.
(I’ll also throw in Station Eleven, an older book that I finally got around to. Such a bittersweet read.)
