That’s the end to our Hanukkah-palooza, but we’ll be back next year! Thank you so much to this awesome community of readers and we hope your 2019 is full of great new books!

I’m hoping for more time with friends and more variety in my reading. I love romance, but I feel the need for more variety.
I’d like to purge and donate things I don’t need or want. My attic is crazy.
My hope is to put me first! I’m in the process of selling my business and once that’s through I am planning to do a fair bit of travelling, including moving to Australia for a year!
I’m hoping to knit my first sweater!
More. Just more.
Somewhat out of my control, I would love to see some resolutions start in regards to our political situation.
Within my control, I would like to finally have my chaos at work resolved so I can really enjoy my job. I’ve been upended four times in the past two years. This will be my last move for awhile so I’m looking forward to starting in a new space.
Happy Hanukkah!
I’d love a little more peace in the world. On a personal front, an improved blood pressure situation for my husband and me.
Hoping to make more time to cook, achieve a healthier sleep schedule, and put aside more time to read for fun (not just for grad school)!
I am hoping to finish my dissertation!
I am hoping for good health in 2019 for family members who had some pretty serious issues this year.
OMG. Midnight blue metalflake! Would be fabulous to take bowling…
For 2019, I would like to see more blue sparkliness all over. We have a new Democratic woman governor here in Kansas, so that is a great start. I would also like to carve out more time to read this year.
Chag Sameach & Happy Hanukkah!
I would like all of us to be able to lay it down, whatever “it” is. The burden, heartache, anger, fear: lay it all down for a moment, take one deep breath every day just for yourself.
what I hope for in 2019, my youngest daughters divorce finally reaches an end and she can move forward with her life, my hubby’s health to improve so he can start enjoying life, my son to find someone to share his life with, my oldest daughter a return to Canada. Last but not least that my oldest grandchild finds love and acceptance in his transition.
I hope for more honesty in 2019. Both in my personal life (I tend to keep to myself and I try to talk more about my problems to the people in my life) and in global politics. We need more honesty in the world.
I’m hoping to get settled into our new community and make some friends here.
I hope to be hired at the hospital at which I’m interning!
I want to make more time to cook in 2019. I love it and always forget how relaxing it is.
I’m hoping to finally organize my sock drawer!
Hoping for better health. Happy that the doctors I have dealt with are pleasant and have a sense of humour.
Hoping to travel to more exotic locales and eat more delicious food!
I hope to do some home organizing and downsizing.
More time to do things with my family….
Happy Hanukkah to everyone who celebrates. I wish for this coming year to bring us all more joy and light, and less darkness.
I’m hoping for a new job, and for the sake of the US and the world, a few well-placed indictments.
My goals for 2019 are still being worked on but overall will have to do with simplifying my daily life and improving my health, both physically and mentally.
I plan to take a real vacation – as in, going abroad – and eventually get a full-time job. I always wanted to own my own apartment some day, but I won’t make that commitment without a full-time job.
Here’s to 2019!
I’m hoping to find peace from the loss of my brother
More restful sleep and taking better care of myself.
Overall: better health. 2018 has been the year from hell in terms of hospital visits, er visits, and procedures. I’d really like to get through 2019 we it less sick days.
Reading: read 160 books or more and hopefully some of those will be the ever growing pile in my living room!! Working at a library is a blessing and a curse.
In 2019, I want to get back to reading more consistently, and take time to take care of me (exercise, etc) that is not sitting on social media.
I’ve been meaning to partake in my local library, mainly so I can use Hoopla, and in 2019 I’m going to make that happen. I also want to read a higher quality of book (books that I enjoy more consistently) rather than just reading whatever is cheap and part of daily deals or pushed to me in advertising.
We are planning to add to our family, or at least get a wee one growing next year 🙂 (and then with breastfeeding comes many hours to read ALL the books!)
These goals are not 100% compatible, but…get out of the house and DO stuff more often, and also, read some of the books on my bookshelves (to make space for new ones, natch).
I would like to feel more hopeful about the future in 2019 and more importantly to eat better and be kinder to my mother.
I hope for a healthy and joyful new year filled with a lot of great new reads!
Time to read! Also good health.
I’m hoping for less turmoil in 2019!
I would love to conquer more of my TBR pile but really I’ll just end up adding more to it. My main goal is to get a full time job!
I want to step up my emotional toolbox to deal with family issues. Specifically, I need to work on being better at exercising patience.
My goal in 2019 is to visit Scotland and see guys in kilts!!
