This book has a 3.9-star average, and the heroine, a chef named Elise, is particularly funny and unique, and the attraction between her and the hero is blistering, too.

She’ll read the first book and is never compelled to read the next. Well, this book is her exception and I take that as some worthy praise.

I highly recommend “Suddenly, last summer”. It’s one of my favorite books in contemporary romance. I also loved the first book in this trilogy “Sleigh bells in the snow”, a perfect book to get into a romantic Christmas mood.
