You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This HaBO comes from Megan, who is looking for a paranormal romance series:
I’m looking for a paranormal shifter romance I read about a year ago. It was about werewolf brothers in a small town. I think the whole town may have been a pack?
It was a series, and the first book was about a woman who comes in and, desperate for work, ends up working as a waitress at the bar run by one of the brothers.
In the second book, one of the brothers is a sheriff that has been having a “friends with benefits” relationship with a woman, but refuses to be anything more. He believes in a vision someone told him about his true mate, and doesn’t believe this woman is it. Turns out, she was, but by that point she is over being treated like crap by him. This is the one I really want to find!
With all this, I still can’t figure it out! I cannot tell you how many Goodreads lists I have waded through, with no luck.
The first one sounds incredibly familiar to me, but I’m coming up with nothing.

Could it be Hour of the Lion by Cherise Sinclair?
(The first one at least, the series is called The Wid Hunt Legacy.)
Sounds like one of Jennifer Ashley’s shifter books.
I think I have read the beginning of this and it was a self-pub book. Kit Rocha?
I hope y’all figure this one out cause that second one sounds like my personal catnip
Definitely not Kit Rocha. They only write dystopian erotica.
@hng23: She may have meant Moira Rogers, which I believe is the Kit Rocha team writing in the PNR/UF genre.
They sound like the first two books in the Black river pack series by Rochelle Paige
Hold on…I read these. Now I have to see if I can find them on my GR bookshelves.
I 1000% have read this and it’s driving me crazy. I just went through my digital and print collections and can’t figure out. I’ll keep looking and update if I find it!
@Christy That’s it!! Sweet baby muskrats, this has been driving me crazy! It was to the point where I could care less if they ended up being good books or not, as long as I could stop the endless tip of the tongue sensation while I tried to remember the name of the books.
As a side note, I admit to squealing with glee in the middle of a crowded room when I saw my question up today. I glanced around and just said “It’s a book thing.”
I did mean Moria Rogers. I couldn’t remember the authors’ other name. Thank you!
Note to self: stop eating cold French fries NOW, or the coroner will have to declare that you died from choking upon reading Megan’s joyous exclamation of “sweet baby muskrats!”. Now off to wipe up the spewed fries.
@betsydub I work with young impressionable minds every day, and have thus resorted to a rather colorful collection of quirky sayings. The kids will sometimes look at me weird and say “I don’t even know what that means.” I know kiddo. I know.
Ok, well I was wrong I didn’t read these… yet. Way to go Christy! I see the first book is free on Kindle.
@Megan – when I taught I mostly used Blast! god my non-vulgar exclamations but one of my colleagues was quite creative. My personal favorite of hers was “holy sugar shack!”
@cleo – that’s for not god – crazy autocorrect
@KellyM, also free on Nook, and the second book is $.99…. just got them both because how could I not after those descriptions!
The Nocturne Falls books by Kristen Painter has a female werewolf bartender that shows up every now and then, if you’re looking for others. It’s a fun, lighthearted series.
Mate Set, by Laurann Dohner. The male half-breed hero Grady is the eldest illegitimate son of a shifter family of werewolves and is assigned to protect the human heroine against his or her wishes… He runs a bar and has suffered quite a bit from prejudice because of his half-breed status: he does not want to mate with a human… Que lots of credible tension which is character-driven: the narrative arc isn’t surprising but it is a lot of fun getting there… Enjoy.
umm have just re-read the initial description and it is clearly not this book. oops. sorry about that. can I recommend Mate Set anyway?! it was excellent. description one sounds pretty good too!
@Fern I love Laura Dinner! I will have to check that one out too.
I love all the new books I’m going to have a chance to check out thanks to everyone and their fantastic recommendations.
Just an FYI, here in San Diego we have a bar called Werewolf.
The Black River Pack is on special for the Kindle… all 3 for $2.99

Sounds like the Cherise Sinclair Wild Hunt Legacy series if it – all good reads from memory
I got the first 2 books too! The 2nd book sounds like my catnip.
This sounds like a trilogy by T.S. Joyce, Wolves of Winter’s Edge. It’s been awhile since I read them, and I don’t think aallll the details match up, but enough do to make them worth checking out…
