  1. Monkey Pantsuit says:

For me it would be series that I reread all the time when new books come out, because it drives me crazy when I can’t remember stuff and I think skimming hard copies would be easier than ebooks.
So, All Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Alpha and Omega and Anne Bishop Written in Red. However, after I post this I’ll think of a million other things. And actually, something by a writer who is new to me with realistic characters that I care about, an original, well-written romance plot (and a giant backlist) would make me sob happily.

  2. Lisa says:

Oh wow, what a dilemma. I would love to get a box of books that are not available in print. I’m including books that have gone out of print and are impossible to find as well as those books that are only available in an e-format that my kobo and/or does not support!

  3. Mary Preston says:

Classic Historical Fiction for me. New and favourite authors.

  4. Suzanne W. says:

My dream box would be a “beta box” – all sweet heroes with no alpha-holes. Well, I do like a truly troubled alpha, but he definitely has to have a sweet side, or I’m out!

  5. Mai Ka says:

My dream box would be a mixture of all kinds of books for every mood. I’d love me some comfort reads, some fantasy, a few comedic, and some with drama.

  6. Turophile says:

My dream box would be high quality romances that I can read and pass to others. I’m mainly an ebook reader, but hold on to some paper copies manly as a lending library.

  7. Julie S. says:

Alisha Rai and Courtney Milan are on my list– heard a lot about them but haven’t tried them yet. And Betas are my favorite.

I hadn’t tried romance until January 2017. With all the drama in the daily news, I wanted a guaranteed happily ever after in my reading life. When every glance at twitter makes you feel like the world is a trashcan fire, it’s nice to have an escape to something you know will end up joyful.

  8. I’m collecting the Penguin clothbound classics and the Every Man’s Library hardbacks right now, so I would say those. I’m a sucker for a beautiful classic 🙂

  9. ClaireC says:

I would love a box full of my favorite genres, but written by new authors for me to discover – historical, paranormal, SFR, and contemporary are all welcome! And could the box also come with a tool to stop or fast-forward time, so I can just skip that pesky going-to-work part of the day that interrupts my reading?

  10. Geralynn R Ross says:

Signed copies from my favorite Historical Romance writer Lisa Kleypas , Tessa Dare and Elizabeth Hoyt .

  11. kkw says:

My dream box of books would have all the lost, the burnt, the unfinished, etc manuscripts of my favorite authors. I mean, as long as I’m dreaming…

  12. Allison venner says:

Such a tough question, because I love so many different romance! I think a box of new authors would be the best though to be able to find even more opportunities to fall in love with new books!

  13. Lotti says:

My dream box includes a bunch of cheerful, fluffy paperbacks that I can pass around and share with my friends 🙂

  14. Kalan says:

My dream box of books would include a little bit of everything…new and used from multiple genres, including romance, fantasy, science fiction and classic lit.

  15. Elaine says:

Hardbacks. With pretty cover art (please excuse me this bit of shallowness).

In terms of the books themselves, I will take classics, history, reference books, and all manner of fiction, be they romance, mystery, fantasy, or literary. Just no self-help.

  16. Kira says:

In some ways I own too many books… but I think a dream box of books would have the childhood books I can’t remember the title of, the book of bible stories that belonged to my mom, and pristine first editions of my favorite picture books.

  17. Kira says:

In some ways I own too many books… but I think a dream box of books would have the childhood books I can’t remember the title of, the book of bible stories that belonged to my mom, and pristine first editions of my favorite picture books. Or amazing sequels to the series I love that aren’t available yet.

  18. Miss Louisa says:

My dream box of books would be a filled box of books. While I really love romance and the hea’s, I really love strong friendships and family interactions. I really like it when the couple has a full life outside of their relationship. I like dialogue and humor. My gateway to romance were the romantic comedies known as chicklit in the 90’s. While often derided, the books were about modern lives of women with more humor and gorgeous men then we were likely to find in real life.

  19. Mags says:

My dream book box would be a box of holding (bottomless) that has all my favorites, plus a bunch of new ones, from both my favorite authors and many new to me authors. I’m a reading omnivore, though I mainly read romance these days. I read most genres, as long as the world building makes sense and the relationship takes the front seat. I hate it when the book is just a plot race between sex scenes.

  20. Karen B. says:

Dream box? A never-ending supply of Alisha Rai, Kit Rocha, and Charlotte Stein!

  21. Alaina says:

i would like all new stuff from a variety of authors and genres. books that i wouldn’t necessarily pick up on my own. it’s almost too fun to even think about :X

  22. Deborah says:

My dream box of books would include all the books I loved as a kid and can’t find now.

  23. Kelsey says:

I’d love a book of my faves. I love rereading them as comfort reads.

  24. Tori says:

I think it’d be really cool to have a box of all-new romances curated according to my taste in past reads. So probably a mix mainly of historical, erotica, & contemporary.

  25. Heather Greye says:

My dream box of books – I’m torn between either a box of signed all Py-changeling books or a box of romance/sff books that I’m guaranteed to enjoy.

  26. Giddypony says:

I’d love a box of mixed romances – POC, historical, LGBT and that Alisha Rai!

  27. Alison Auerbach says:

My dream box of books would contain all the upcoming releases from my favorite authors. I admit I might have a hard time keeping the stories secret until they are released.

  28. Nikki says:

I’d love a box of big, fat out-of-print copies of historical fiction/romances. *dreamy eyes* ;D

  29. Emily says:

My dream box of books would be books I could for the first time and know they’re amazing. I’d like to read Deep Secret for the first time again, and The Blue Castle, And Thus Was Adonis Murdered, and Strong Poison, and To Say Nothing of the Dog,
and Howl’s Moving Castle. I loved reading them and knowing I was finding a whole new world and I couldn’t predict what was going to happen.

  30. Jill-Marie says:

My dream box would be filled with the great horse classics of my childhood — anything by Patsey Gray, “Pamela and the Blue Mare” books, the “Flip” books by Wesley Dennis, “Tall and Proud,” “A Horse of Her Own,” the “Billy and Blaze” books by C.W. Anderson and everything else he wrote and illustrated, and so, so many more. Whatever happened to good horse books??

I wouldn’t complain if that magical box also held Jody Jaffe’s horse show mysteries and Karen McGoldrick’s “The Dressage Chronicles” series.

  31. Lina says:

My dream box would have classics like Julia Quinn and new contemporary books by Marianna Zapata but also some new unknown to me books definitely have to throw in some historical or contemporary books I’ve never read before.

  32. Miko says:

I want a box with regency, contemporary, mystery, and humor.

  33. Amy says:

My dream box of books would have a mix of subgenres, but all would be funny, with fast-paced plots, kickass heroines, and wild cover art.

  34. Shelley Dodge says:

My dream box would include new books from favorite authors, fantasy and paranormal elements, and one new author I fall in love with so I can then glom their backlist!

  35. marta cox says:

Thanks for including international. My dream box holds paranormal or fantasy but most of all it has to be romance

  36. HannahS says:

This isn’t an easy question to answer, as a part of me would love to see signed hard copies of some of my absolute all time favourite books ( lioness quartet and immortals quartet by Tamara pierce, the blue sword and hero and the crown by robin McKinley, and the books by Patrick Rothfuss) but I would also dearly love to get a box of amazing books I’ve never heard of that would expand my repertoire! I think I’d have to go with signed copies of my all time favourites – they would be forever cherished!

  37. Ellie says:

My dream box would have a mix of romance, steampunk, and my new love – science fiction. Anything can happen out in space or on new colonies, and it’s usually survivable. Paranormal is awesome as well.

  38. Anita H. says:

My dream box would be a mix of signed historical and contemporary books from some of my favorite authors like Jill Shalvis, Lisa Kleypas, Susan Mallery, Erin Nicholas, Julia Quinn, Sarah Maclean, Julie Ann Long and Lori Foster. Thank you so much for the chance to win!

  39. Meg says:

My dream would be a box full of books by authors I’d never heard of, each which I would enjoy reading more then the last!
(Even better if the authors have big back catalogues so I have new reading for months!)

  40. Danielle B. says:

My dream box would be filled with books on my tbr list sprinkled with new, great authors I haven’t heard of yet. A nice variety of historical romance, PNR/UF and fantasy.
