Spring Cleaning: A Grab Bag Giveaway

A little girl with glasses and a red skirt reading a big book in the libraryAt SBTB HQ, we go through a lot of books and we want to share the wealth with our lovely community! We’re strapping on our headbands and rolling up our sleeves to do some bookish spring cleaning.

We have seven boxes of brand new books to giveaway! Yes, seven!Ā 

We can promise the books included are absolutely new, unread, and printed on paper. We can also promise there will be at least five books, possibly more, in each box.

There may be a mix of formats and sub-genres, but most if not all will be romance or with Strong Romantic Elements!

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the titles included:

Genres include contemporary, historical, romantic suspense, thrillers, and paranormal romance, too.Ā While we hope the box you receive contains a subgenre or author you enjoy, we also have our fingers crossed that you’ll love trying something new. And as always, our mission statement is to share the love and share the romance.

Standard disclaimers apply: We are not being compensated for this giveaway, aside from hoping you’ll make some good book noises. Void where prohibited. Must be over 18 and ready to read read read. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Boxes will contain books only, despite our cats collectively try to set up some sort of cardboard feline commune. However, your own pets may repurposes that boxes as they see fit! Entries will end around noon on Friday 27 April 2018, and winners will be announced and notified shortly afterward.

    My dream box of books would be full of urban fantasy series beginners I’d never read before, where all the characters have agency, and a diverse cast, and the magic makes sense!!!

    It’s really hard to pick a dream box, but I think I’d love to get a box that has a few of the books at the top of my wishlist, a few books by authors I haven’t read but that feature tropes I love, and maybe an interesting and well-written nonfiction or two thrown in just for fun.

    Thanks for the giveaway! My dream box of books would include Leta Blake’s not-yet-published sequels to Slow Heat and her coming-of-age series, a Marie Sexton sequel to Trailer Trash, and any other m/m that Lilah Pace cares to write (some royal spin-off perhaps).

    I really would love to get a box full of those YA tweeny historicals that were titled with a girl’s name, like CHRISTY or MEREDITH and they looked all windswept and usually there was a stampede/fire/earthquake painted in the background that served as a plot point. Also any and all of those Sunset Beach books or their ilk. God I loved those books as a tween and definitely had to sneak them into the house.

    My dream book box would include some fantasy romance books (C L Wilson, Anne Bishop), but I have recently discovered that I like historicals (Tessa Dare, Lisa Kleypas), and I LOVED Alisha Rai’s Forbidden Hearts trilogy, so I am open to other sub genres.

    My dream box would have any kind of romance. I do love the hea endings but I don’t mind the cliffhangers, as long as it all works out in the end. And as long as the guy isn’t a jerk. (Can’t stand them) I’ll read them and will probably throw the book across the room. šŸ™‚

    Where to get a box of books, I would like them to be paranormal fantasy or sci-fi. But my dream box of books would be from Wen Spencer, the tinkerer series, or the Dresden Files or Outlander or the newest paranormals, or the heart series by Robyn Owens. I just likeway too many books and way too many authors.

    My dream box at the moment would be paperback editions of some of my favorites from Kristen Ashley. I have them all on my Kindle, but for my favorites, I’d like to get copies to put on my physical shelves.

    I would have to say a box full of genre fiction from the 50’s 60’s. Pulpy covers are my absolute favorite and I love the language used in books from that time period and discovering authors that you have never heard of before is awesome.

    Well if I get to say what my fantasy box of would include…I would have to say it would be a box of 5 stars gems that are exactly to my taste of course! I want the smutty romance with lots of banter with realistic situations with some domestic psychological thrillers where the twists are mind-blowing and I never see coming.

    I think the ideal box of books would be a mix of romance genres and a mix of authors I have read and new to me ones. Like I haven’t read romantic suspense and I’d like to try it. And I have heard so much good stuff about Alisha Rai but I haven’t read anything by her. But also if there were some
    Tessa Dare and Alyssa Cole in that box, I would be a happy lady.

    My dream box of books would include the next installment in five or ten of the author series I follow – some mystery/suspense, some contemporary romance, some romantic comedy, some magic/fantasy – it would be so hard to choose!
