I would die for those cloth-bound Jane Austens. I have severe book envy every time I see them on Instagram.
My dream box is a mix of favorite authors and new favorites that I learn to love!
I love books in general but I particularly would love a box of romance books with strong characters that know how to work through issues by *gasp* talking about them and that include a lot of humor and some snark. Happily ever afters are preferred. And I love a good series where you can watch all the characters as they go and grow through life.
My dream box would include new authors to me that I enjoy. I love finding new stories and genres to add to my TBR pile.
I would love to discover some new authors, as I am a voracious reader, but I’d also wish for a few favorites that I’ve checked out from the library but don’t own. When I love something, I like to read it over and over again. As I’ve acquired books secondhand for pretty much my whole life, I have no preference as to first editions or anything like that. I’d simply like some new historicals and contemporaries to read.
A dream box of books would contain new authors and stories I have not read before. I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth; any subject would be worth exploring!
My dream box would definitely have Alisha Rai in it, but I also like to have new-to-me authors. I’d like mostly contemporaries, and lots of sexy books. More spice the better! Plus one sports romance. I love those.
my dreambox consists of hardcover editions of all the books I currently only have as softcover or ebook, because they don’t exist as hardcover.
I vote that every finished series gets a pretty hardcover edition, just for the bibliophiles like me.
Signed copies of Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Jennifer Estep, Amanda Hocking… oh dear and so many other YA books! I would just burst!
My dream box would be full of books featuring outspoken, hard-working and thoughtful heroines along with the men who admire them. I adore historicals and contemporaries as well as more of the paranormal romances of late. But whatever’s in the bag would be fun to read and share, I’m certain!
Dream box of books would have to be one bewitched by a spell so I can never find the end… like a Hermione’s or Mary Poppins’ bag!
How do I answer this? I love to read, I have a book or my kindle with me everywhere I go. I am partial to contemporary romance, but also love romantic suspense books. I love to find new authors but love authors with lots of books to follow. So I guess my answer would be, as long as there are books, I’m reading.
I think an assortment of genres would be great. It’s good to try new things sometimes (says the mom to her kids when a new food is on the plate). Or the snarkier version (you get what you get, and you don’t throw a fit). But nobody would throw a fit over a free box of books!
While I’d generally say a box of historicals would please me the most, my current hope is signed books by one of my favorite authors.
So hard to decide! My dream box would include a good mix of genres, since I read widely, and be books that are new authors to me. I love when I read a book I didn’t think I’d like, and end up loving it!
I would love a curated box of books that was especially picked for me with a mix of old books and new
While I mainly read historicals my dream box would include a bunch of new to me authors so I could find some new favorites. Sharing a love of books and reading is the best!
Hardest question ever. I guess my dream box of books would be filled with all the books on my special book wishlist. That wishlist mostly consists of books not available at the library, not available on kindle, expensive books, or books I have read and loved and would like a nice physical copy of to keep.
I would love signed copies from Mary Jo Putney, Cathy Maxwell and Elizabeth Boyle! That is my wish! Thanks for the chance to win one of the boxes of books.
My dream box would simply be a group of books that I can’t put down and that give me all the feels
I would like something exactly like what you’re offering new to me authors and new releases. Thanks!!
My dream box of books are paranormal and contemporary romances with beautiful covers. I like to display my physical books so prefer to buy my favorites and particularly pretty copies!
My dream box would be filled with handpicked early-2000s harlequins. I love the rom-com contemporaries of the early 2000s, but finding the good ones requires wading through a lot of alpha-holes and misogyny. I would love a box filled with a curated collection of Harlequin contemporaries written by authors I haven’t heard of, but are similar to Jennifer Crusie, Sarah Mayberry and Sarah Morgan.
I love books! Romance, paranormal, LGBTQ, I love ‘me all. (Especially if there’s a little hotness involved 😉
My dream box of books is full of surprises – I enjoy reading so many genres. A box of new books would be all kinds of awesome.
What a tough question! My dream box of books would contain half a dozen books that I haven’t yet read but which will become new favorites. If the authors already have a backlist of other books, all the better!
And happy Spring to you all.
You speak of cats. My dream basket would have cats- or dogs- or horses- as integral characters in each and every book. I’d also love a box which deals with time travel; maybe time-travelling cats playing matchmaker?
Obviously my DREAM dream box would be some kind of pocket universe with all the historical romances ever written in it, but I’d settle for a box of Austen and Heyer manuscripts!
I think my dream box would be a mix of new releases from my favorite authors and books from newly published writers, with representation from all my favorite genres: romance, mystery, and fantasy.
I lean toward historical and paranormal but I love discovering new authors as well. I think my dream box would contain an even split between authors/tropes I already know and love and new authors who would rock my bookshelf!
This is really tough, but I’d have to say signed copies of my favorites like Nora Roberts, Jennifer Crusie, and Christina Lauren. I’d also just take any books that those authors recommended because I’m sure they’d also be amazing.
My dream box of books would include books. I read everything. However, if forced to choose I would love historical romance and fantasy romance to be inside the box.
ooohhh so hard to choose what would be in my dream box of books but maybe a little of paranormal/fantasy and thrillers plus a few new to me authors I might enjoy. 🙂 I would be happy with just a box of books since to me its like Christmas when I open it. LOL
Classic first editions!
Well my current dream box would be signed copies of all the Julia Quinn Bridgerton novels, but I’d also love a good mix of historical and fantasy romances!
My dream box is full of books. My favorites are historical romances and psychological thrillers, but I love books in general. The smell, the feel, the immersion. True love!
My dream box would contain a mixture of historical, paranormal, and contemporary with some mystery thrown in. Mostly by favorite authors, but with some great new discoveries for me to find.
My dream box would be Smart Bitches “A” books that haven’t been released but the Bitches are dying to talk about, but are being very restrained. I also love picture books! Thanks for your generosity.
primarily to be a good box, it would just need to contain several good books that I enjoy reading (preferably multiple times) and include a mix of subgenre, humor and action.
My dream box of books is signed copies of my favorite series. Probably a Nora Roberts series like Three Sisters Island, Chesapeake Bay, or Gallaghers of Ardmore. But boxes of free genre books are always welcome!
