  1. Kimberly says:

My dream box would be a new to me author, that I find out I LOVE, and that author’s book series!

  2. Rhonda says:

I’m not sure what my dream box would be – probably a mix of familiar and new authors, somehow using my existing catnips to also help me discover new catnips.

  3. AlliK says:

My dream book box would contain a mix of romance, sci-fi, and fantasy, all with kickass women characters. My dream book box would also contain a box of chocolate truffles.

  4. Ashley Morris says:

My dream box would be a mix of signed copies of a few of my all time favorite romances, mixed in with a few books of new to me authors (preferably authors with extensive backlists to add to my ever growing tbr pile if I find I like their work).

  5. JulieDiane says:

I’d like a box filled with a series I could dive into and enjoy. I like to reread, but I need special books for that, so I’d love something that fit the bill.

  6. Rin says:

Ohhh… my dream box would be a backlog from authors who I’ve given 5-stars to on GoodReads. Too often I love a book and never follow up with more from the author, I tend to get distracted by the newest and prettiest (hazards of being a librarian…)

  7. Kimberly Anne says:

My dream box would have all new-to-me authors, and lots of diversity. I have a mighty need for books that are not all straight, white, rich American/English people.

  8. Renae says:

I think my dream-box would be a mix of different historicals. New releases, some out-of-print goodies, and maybe some Classic staples of the genre. OR maybe a starter-box for a reader who’s trying to get into contemporary romance?

  9. Riikka says:

My dream box of books would contain books by authors who are completely new to me. I really love finding those hidden jems.

  10. Karen Witkowski says:

My dream box of books would be a mix of great books I haven’t read!

  11. Emily C says:

My dream box of books is full of lovely hardcover first editions of everything on my keeper shelf- some are romances, some are classics, some are literary fiction, YA and children’s classics (Bridge to Terabithia anyone?). I love the physical feel of my favorite books, just running my hand over the covers and knowing I could get lost on any page inside.

  12. Sara says:

My dream box would contain a mix of familiar and new-to-me authors who write smart, feminist romance, regardless of subgenre. If I love them so much and I insist on lending them out to all my friends, all the better!

  13. Liz says:

It would be too hard to choose just one genre, but I would love the top 5 books on my TBR list on goodreads. Books I can’t find at my local library are great too

  14. Katie Lynn says:

My ideal box of books would be full of the paperbacks of all the books I’ve been excited about but didn’t buy because their ebooks were too expensive. How can I spend $10 on one ebook when I can get three I’m also excited about for $12?

  15. @SB Sarah says:

It is so happy-making to see how enthusiastic you are about this giveaway – thank you, y’all! And good luck!!

  16. Sofia D says:

A great big box of romance books celebrating the great diversity of authors and genres.

  17. Kristen says:

Paranormals and mysteries are my jam!

  18. Kathleen says:

Easy peasy: my dream box would be full of the early romance classics I haven’t been able to get a old of, like when Judith Ivory was writing as Judy Cuevas etc. That said, it is fun to always be looking at thrift stores & yard sales to see what gems I can find!!

  19. Elaine says:

My preference is contemporary or mystery, but I’d be stoked to get a box of books whose titles I added to my TBR pile after seeing a SBTB review but I have yet to get to!

  20. Alex says:

Oh a dream box of books.. That is hard, probably a box filled with new to me books that are magically all my type! But any books are good books to me really, there is just something about having lots of books to read that is super comforting!

  21. Abbie says:

My dream box would be all those middle grade and YA romances I read as a kid. They were old then, and now they’re all either out of print, or I can’t remember the titles.

  22. LyndaX says:

Okay, a dream box doesn’t have to conform to any real world rules, right? So, I’d like my favorite books–some classics, some not–with the author who shows up for tea and interviews. I’d love to tell Oscar Wilde that he now is a hero to anyone who grieves over his destruction, to ask Shakespeare why he left his “second best bed” to his wife–and were they happily married? To Dickens, has he gotten a bad rap about his depressed wife–what’s his side of the story? To Sophocles, does he think Oedipus and Jocasta really existed (as I do)? To tell Jane Austen the worship so many people have for her talents today.

At the bottom of the box would be a renewal form for more authors and their books.

  23. EMcC says:

OMG!! My dream box would be a bunch of books I want to read that aren’t in my local library (or have really long waitlists, lol)!

  24. Abigail says:

The perfect box would be a mix of cool, snazzy editions of beloved favorites and new books destined to added to that category. 🙂

  25. ellenm says:

OMG!! My dream box would be a bunch of books I want to read that aren’t in my local library (or have really long waitlists, lol)!

  26. vasha says:

I love nicely-printed books, something that’s way too freaking rare nowadays. Dream books would have old-fashioned craftsmanship

  27. KellyM says:

My dream is just a box of books! It doesn’t really matter if they are new or old. Long before e readers, I used to sit with piles of romance books on and around me just trying to decide what I wanted to read next. I love my Kindle but there is nothing like the smell and the weight of a book.

  28. Yaara says:

A box full of fun and light romance novels. I’m at home with my baby, and can’t really deep-dive into heavy books these days.

  29. Jas says:

Any box of books would make me really happy but recently I have fallen in love with the hardback Virago editions that I have been ordering one by one from the UK and Persephone books so getting a box of those would make me really happy.

  30. Claudia says:

My ideal book box would include a bunch of used books! I find a certain charm in them! I think it would contain a mix of classic romances and sex guides (Like the Ethical Slut) I’ve never been able to get my hands on!

  31. Jacki says:

My dream box of books would come with a book for each “trope” so that I can pick one out for whichever mood I’m in! Bad boy with a heart of gold? Forbidden/Star-crossed lovers?? Animal shifters?! Yes to everything! 🙂

  32. Cristie says:

My dream box would contain first edition copies of all of Mary Stewart’s books (particularly my all-time favorite of hers-My Brother Michael) as well as a first edition copy of Dorothy’s Sayers’ Gaudy Night (another of my all-time favorites). And anything by Josh Lanyon, Jordan Castillo Price, Susanna Kearsley or Harper Fox.

  33. Paige Nieto says:

This is a tough one since I like my romance to come in all flavors. I think a book of new to me authors in either contemporary or historical. I love books!

  34. Ginger says:

My dream box is filled with books I haven’t read, maybe by authors new to me. I love discovering great authors and then devouring their back catalogs!

  35. Kael says:

My dream box would be full of books that complete series I have (with the correct covers to match the rest of the series) as well as a few YA novels I’ve yet to read but want to so bad (like Wintersong and Prince of Air).

  36. CelineB says:

That’s a tough question. I think any box of books I get would bring me joy!

  37. I would love a box of contemporary romances written by WOC and LGBTQ authors!

  38. Christa says:

I love surprises. So my dream box would contain a choice of very different books for me to discover, and to try out something new.

  39. Lena says:

My dream box would require a few new series to test new authors, coupled with a few new works from loved authors. A mix from the old and the new to keep it spicy!

  40. Meghan says:

I’m a huge fan of the romance genre, but in this case, I’d want a little mystery – mystery of what is in the box! I love finding new series, authors and stories to get lost in for a while that will open me up to new sub-genres, authors and series!
