What an amazing thought… my dream box would have a mix of all the Angela Thirkell books I do f already own (she wrote about 25 books in her Barsetshire Chronicles series, some have been reprinted but I’m missing about 10 of them and none have been republished for a while), and authors that I haven’t heard of but someone magically knows I would like. I’m very into books set in the first half of the twentieth century at the moment, so that would be the ideal time period for my dream box!

Oh, but who am I kidding – I’ll read anything!

  2. faellie says:

I would love to have my favourite ebooks suddenly turn up at my house in professionally printed form. I’m old enough to have grown up on printed books and there is nothing quite like seeing a favourite book sitting on the shelf waiting for me to renew the acquaintance.

  3. JoanneBB says:

My dream box of books would be a little magical, whenever I reached in it would give me just the right book for my mood/interest of the moment. And it would also bend time a little to give me more time for reading!

  4. Mollie W says:

Would love a box of new to me romances. 🙂

  5. SuetheBookie says:

My dream box would be a mix of new authors of steampunk, historical mysteries, historical paranormal, and urban fantasy series.

  6. ameliapond says:

a box filled with books by my favorite authors who either are dead and/or don’t write books as fast as I read them, e.g. new Harry Potter book, wonderful new Jane Austen, Julie James.

  7. Maggie says:

My dreeam box would be full of poetry or urban fantasy/paranormals that I haven’t read before.

  8. Critterbee says:

My dream box would be books of all genres by female authors, that I can pass on to my niece after reading.

  9. Margaret says:

If some lovely psychic could fill a box with all the missing books I need to complete series, that would be lovely. For example, I have 3 non-consecutive books in the Last True Vampire series. How does that happen?

  10. Jaime says:

A whole box of unpublished & signed Terry Pratchett Discworld books

  11. Susan T says:

My dream box would be filled with HEA books regardless of genre. And any books in a series must start with the first unles the series can be read out of order. Other than that, anything goes!

  12. Lena Lee says:

My dream box of books would be a mix of new books so I can find my new fav and some signed copies from my favorite authors.

  13. Natasha says:

My dream box would contain signed copies of my favourite books. I’m slowly working on achieving that goal!

  14. Joy says:

I like paranormal and historic but my cat Bootsie would be VERY interested in the BOX.

  15. Tamara says:

I’m forever on a Regency kick so like a box of those would never be unwelcome, especially if its queer romance because I’ve read nothing but KJ Charles for the last month.

  16. Tracey C says:

My dream book box would be full of things I didn’t know I wanted to read. In signed, matching cover sets 😉

  17. Kim says:

My dream box would have a lot of historicals and a few contemporaries – no suspense or damsels in distress. And I’d even be okay if all of the stories stopped at the bedroom door . . . getting a little tired of the “stroke by stroke” descriptions that substitute for romantic interactions.

  18. Janine says:

A box of all those books I read once and loved and can’t find again…and since this is a fantasy, they are all still great twenty years later!

  19. Deidre Young says:

There soooo many authors and so little time to read (but some how I sneek a read in). Would WELCOME the opportunity to learn about read some of the amazing authors out there that are unknown to me.

Hope I get selected to get a mystery box (might have to call in sick) 🙂

  20. Jean Russell says:

This is the Smart Bitches. You would pass on stinkers. I will like these books.

  21. No Unplanned Pregnancies or Surprise Babies, Please
I love the ones filled with humor and slapstick though as I type this I love the ones filled with suspense and twists. Maybe humorous twists and shocking slapstick is my genre.

  22. PlantLady says:

My dream box of books would contain all the books that I wish an author had written, but didn’t. (Or maybe hasn’t written yet.) The ones that give the stories of that one character I loved but who disappeared by the end of the book, or the story of that thing that was mentioned in the book they did write, but caught my attention so much that I needed to read something specifically about that thing.

So, imaginary books, I guess is what I’d like.

  23. Heather S says:

I just like boxes of books, and so much the better if they’re romance!

  24. Megan says:

My box of free books would be historical romances I haven’t read or hockey romances I haven’t read or LOOK a box of books!

  25. Kristi says:

That sounds amazing! I love getting surprised with different books to try. I wouldn’t love first editions, I would never read them! So just a box of regular books for me to jump into would be my favorite.

  26. Nic M-W says:

I would love a box of books with all different genres, representing diversity of authors, with a common theme of fun.

  27. Megan S. says:

My dream box would include a mix of contemporary and historical romance, with authors new to me who I’ve been meaning to try and now can, authors who’ve flown under my radar completely, and also maybe a magic book that contains what Jane Austen would have written, had she lived longer. Might as well dream big.

    Thank you for this giveaway!

  28. Kat says:

I’d love a box of my favourite (mostly older) romances in hardback editions — the kind with sewn binding, not the smelly glue. Because at some point I’d like to pass them on to my kids, and I can already tell that some of my most reread hardbacks won’t last the distance!

  29. Kim T. says:

I’m always excited to read debut books by new authors! I prefer historical and contemporary but will sometimes read paranormal but I’m not too picky! And if I won’t read them I always find someone to give them to who will!

  30. Sara says:

My book box would be all the awesome recommendations from SBTB that aren’t available through my library!

  31. Linda Macklin says:

My dream box would contain books that would transport me away from the everyday world, into the world of romance. I would love a mix of romance genres.

  32. Alessandra says:

Mine would be a mix of some regency by new authors and some fantasy/paranormal from new authors and authors I’ve read! Thanks ladies!

  33. TaraR says:

My dream box of books would be a box full of other people’s “keeper shelf” books. I love discovering new authors, especially by reading stuff other people liked and recommended.

  34. Sabrina Shields says:

Since I love to read almost anything, this is a hard question! Thinking I might go with a dream box would be full of new to me authors I instantly fall in love with.

  35. Melissandre says:

Since my last box of romance books contained a bunch of Old Skool romances left over from a library book sale, I’d say anything that has new, unread titles is a dream box. If the new titles just so happened to be exclusively Regencies and paranormals, all the better…

  36. Crystal says:

Dream box: some new-to-me Shelly Laurenston, some Tessa Dare and Elizabeth Hoyt that I can share with all the people, as well as some Cathy Maxwell and Eva Leigh, since I’ve been meaning to introduce myself to those ladies’ books, Laura Florand and Alice Clayton for food-filled contemporaries, something something DRAGONS something, and maybe some murdery stuff to top it off. Oh, and Saga Vol. 8, since I haven’t read it yet. I’ll be looking forward to my box, kthanx.

  37. K.N. O'Rear says:

Historical romances are my favorite , but I will read anything given to me and then share it with my sister-in-law. Also my cats always appreciate a new box .

  38. Erica H says:

My dream box has a mixed genre of upcoming books. Half are new authors and half are from established authors.

  39. Rose says:

Any box of books is a dream box of books. All romance just makes it sweeter.

  40. Sarah S says:

My dream box right now? Full of distractions and happy endings. My real world is just a wee bit rocky atm.
