This is an older Kearsley title features the hallmarks of her novels: parallel storylines in the present and past, a mystery, and some romance. Under the Pendulum Sun by Jeanette Ng is $1.99! What a coincidence as this was mentioned on this month’s Whatcha Reading! I was definitely curious about this one. Readers say it has a ton of twists, but it’s a rather dark book. Here’s what reader KateB said about the book:

This is a fantasy series that was picked for a previous Vaginal Fantasy Romance book club, which is ending permanently soon. Toni Aleo’s Assassins series bundle two is currently $0.99. It starts with book 5, I would say that you could probably start there no problem. Contemporary romance about a hockey team. I have read the first boxed set and really enjoyed them (I don’t believe the first set is still for sale).
Come What May by A M Arthur is currently $1.99. MM New Adult (? what I assume from the description). I’ve read several of Arthur’s books and enjoyed them, though they tend to be a bit darker in tone.
Whelp, I have no restraint, and bought both the fantasy books. Faeries, elemental magic, librarian heroines … so much catnip.
