Truth or Beard by Penny Reid is $2.99 at Amazon! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals. I know Reid is an auto-buy author for many of you and this one has an enemies to lovers feel to it, judging by the description. Readers say it has Reid’s trademark humor and quirkiness, but warn there’s a scene where the hero is with another woman. I know that’s an off button for some.

A Desperate Fortune is one of my very favorite reads!! Well worth the 199 pennies!! Instead of “took a while to get going” I would say it unfolds slowly with heartfelt passion and a quiet beauty that captivated me completely.
Beauty and the Mustache by Penny Reid is currently free. It’s the unofficial beginning of the Winston brother series, featuring their sister from the Knitting books.
As for the being with another woman in Truth or Beard, I think the circumstances are pretty clear that he isn’t cheating. I don’t recall being bothered by it when I read it. Hopefully that helps people make decisions as to whether it’s for them!

First, Let Us Dream by Alyssa Coke is only .99 on Amazon. I loved An Extraordinary Union so can’t wait to read this! And second, Susanna Kearsley is one of my absolute favorite authors. A Desparate Fortune wasn’t as immediately compelling as some of her others but I agree with JoAnn that it was a slow burn that drew me in and I was weeping by the end (but all her books make me cry, so…) SB Sarah’s interview on the podcast is one of the best!
