Here’s the description for this special edition:

Subterranean Press is pleased to present, from NYT #1 bestselling author Ilona Andrews, an omnibus of the first three novels in the Innkeeper series. Our edition will be huge (over 760 pages), with an original full-color wraparound dust jacket, as well as full-color and black-and-white interior illustrations by Doris Mantair.

About the Book:

Meet Dina Demille, a nice Texas gal who runs a seemingly ordinary, quaint B&B. But Dina’s inn is a magic, thinking entity; her fluffy Shih-tzu, Beast really is a beast; and her guests are the kind that no one on earth is supposed to know about: guests like a dethroned galactic tyrant with a massive bounty on her head, the Lord Marshal of a powerful vampire clan, and a displaced—and superhot—alpha-strain werewolf.

So don’t expect a normal stay…and don’t stand too close, or you may be collateral damage….

In Clean Sweep, Dina—with the unwanted assistance of newcomer (and alpha werewolf) Sean Evans and Arland, a cosmic vampire soldier—takes on an extraterrestrial killing machine that could destroy her Inn, her neighbors, and everything she holds dear.

Sweep in Peace, finds Dina hosting an anything-but peace summit between three warring intergalactic species; Space Vampires, the Hope-Crushing Horde, and the devious Merchants of Baha-char.

One Fell Sweep sends Dina to the galaxy’s worst penal colony to rescue her sister; and back home to fend off a clan of assassins in pursuit, all while saving a guest’s civilization from annihilation…and searching for her missing parents.

  1. I’m not saying that an illustrated edition of Michelle West’s Sun Sword series would be remotely practical (given the size), I’m just saying it would be worth it. Especially if the illustrator was Jody Lee.

  2. Eva says:

The Hidden Legacy Trilogy by Ilona Andrews

  3. Amelie says:

Ugh that’s tough, so many books to choose from! I would say either The Bean Trees or The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. The setting of both books is very crucial to the plot development (Arizona desert for The Bean Trees, the Congo in Africa for The Poisonwood Bible amidst political turmoil). They are both very emotional books and it would be great to see an artist’s perspective of the book through illustrations.

  4. Mags says:

Patricia Briggs has some of the Mercy books as graphic novels with the Dabel Brothers, so I’m going with her old school fantasy and picking the Hob’s Bargain.

  5. Marc says:

It isn’t romance but Joe Abercrombies First Law Trilogy.

  6. Vicki says:

So many choices. Some of Heyer’s would be good. Maybe Laurie King’s Mary Russells? But finally settled on Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. I think that would be fun.

  7. Kelsey says:

It’s so pretty!! I’d love to see one of Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling books like this. The covers are always so pretty. Heart of Obsidian would probably be my top pick.

  8. Jessica says:

I would love to see Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter Series, either Archangels KIss or Archangels Legion.

  9. Malin says:

I agree with all the people who said they’d like illustrated versions of Sarah J. Maas’ Court books. Frankly, I’d love illustrated versions of any and all of Ilona Andrews’ books. The illustrations for the Innkeeper books are gorgeous (not so much the current covers for their Hidden Legacy books).

  10. Maddy says:

The Tortall series by Tamora Pierce! If I could only choose one book inside that series then I would choose Wild Magic. I can just imagine what an artist could do with that world.

  11. Lola Jane says:

Robin McKinley’s Sunshine. I love that book.

  12. Wiesteria says:

Megan Whalen Turner’s Queen’s Thief series. I would pay good money for that.

  13. Sarah says:

I’d love to see Captive Prince by CS Pacat illustrated. What a fantastic giveaway, this book is stunning.

  14. HannahS says:

Oh man, there’s so many books I’d love to see illustrated, I have no idea how I could choose just one! Basically, I think every book should have illustrations. Recently, I just finished A Court of Wings and Ruin, and I’d love to see that series illustrated! Or the Kate Daniels series… so many come to mind!

  15. Tam B. says:

    The books that I would like to see illustrated;
    – Anne McCaffrey’s Pern series – love dragons.
    – GA Aiken series – more dragons
    – Shelly Laurenston’s Crows – those women kick *ss.

  16. Katharina says:

I would love to see Anne Bishop’s ‘the others’ series turned into an illustrated edition.

  17. Vanessa says:

I love this series, and pretty much everything they write!

  18. Nancy says:

I want an illustrated edition of Seveneves by Neal Stephenson!

  19. Aditi says:

City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett would be swoonworthy as an illustrated edition! The novel is very atmospheric and the artist can have a field day imagining all of the magic!

  20. Helen R-S says:

I’d love to see an illustrated edition of The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn by Lori Benton.

  21. Shannon Tolbirt says:

    Love these books.

  22. Elspeth says:

“To Say Nothing of the Dog” by Connie Willis, Not only would we get some lovely Victorian clothing, we could get an illustration of the Bishop’s bird stump.

  23. Maureen says:

I would pick The Last Hour of Gann by R Lee Smith.

  24. CR says:

I need Daughter of Smoke and Bones illustrated. I sent two weeks googling all the characters but I NEED more.

  25. Ana Silva says:

Any of Kim Harrison’s “The Hollows” series, although the first “Dead Witch Walking” would be my front runner.

Why? Sexy pixies and elves CEOs. Just sayin’…

  26. AuntieKristin says:

Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series is perfect for an illustration edition.

  27. AmyB says:

Tessa Dare’s Romancing the Duke. I think an artist could have a lot of fun illustrating that book.

    Thank you!

  28. Di says:

I would like to see the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce.

  29. distarr says:

Definitely Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series, Anne Bishop’s Others series or anything by Grace Draven!

  30. Lulinke says:

I’d love to see an illustrated version of Uprooted, by Naomi Novik – I think it would be amazing 🙂

  31. Pat A says:

I would like to see the Kindle book Starkissed by Lanette Curington a scifi romance with an non human hero or Radiance by Grace Draven. I think either would have great illustrations.

  32. Casey says:

    Any book by Nalini Singh!

  33. Susan Neace says:

The Twelve Houses series by Sharon Shinn, especially the first book Mystic And Rider

  34. Kathy B says:

Oh Gosh, so many books to choose from… I think I’d love to see Anne McCaffrey’s Dragon Riders of Pern book(s) illustrated…

  35. Trix says:

I’ve long heard rumors of a graphic-novel version of Damon Suede’s HORN GATE in the works, but it seems like a BAD IDEA/HORN GATE illustrated omnibus makes more sense. (Of course, I’d secretly want his HOT HEAD instead, even if it would require a plain brown wrapper…)

  36. Sharon says:

This is such a beautiful book, what a great giveaway! I think the Sarah J Maas series would be stunning with illustrations, thanks for the chance to win this great book!

  37. Cathy Smith says:

I would love to see an illustrated version of Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changling series.

  38. Amanda Quehl says:

I know it’s on here already, but Sabriel by Garth Nix! Especially if the Illustrator could capture the magic awesomeness of the original Leo and Diane Dillon cover illustration. They’re my favorite cover illustrators to this day!

  39. Kate says:

I bet an illustrated version of A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi would be amazing…

  40. Ashley Morris says:

Hmm, I think I’d have to go with Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo or Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin (both of which I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!).
