Buckle in for another amazing giveaway! This time, we have a limited edition, illustrated volume of Ilona Andrews’ Innkeeper Chronicles. The volume collects all three installments of the Innkeeper Chronicles, clocks in at over 750 pages, contains black and white and full-color artwork, and is signed by Ilona Andrews (both of them!). Holy cow!
Here’s the description for this special edition:Subterranean Press is pleased to present, from NYT #1 bestselling author Ilona Andrews, an omnibus of the first three novels in the Innkeeper series. Our edition will be huge (over 760 pages), with an original full-color wraparound dust jacket, as well as full-color and black-and-white interior illustrations by Doris Mantair.
About the Book:
Meet Dina Demille, a nice Texas gal who runs a seemingly ordinary, quaint B&B. But Dina’s inn is a magic, thinking entity; her fluffy Shih-tzu, Beast really is a beast; and her guests are the kind that no one on earth is supposed to know about: guests like a dethroned galactic tyrant with a massive bounty on her head, the Lord Marshal of a powerful vampire clan, and a displaced—and superhot—alpha-strain werewolf.
So don’t expect a normal stay…and don’t stand too close, or you may be collateral damage….
In Clean Sweep, Dina—with the unwanted assistance of newcomer (and alpha werewolf) Sean Evans and Arland, a cosmic vampire soldier—takes on an extraterrestrial killing machine that could destroy her Inn, her neighbors, and everything she holds dear.
Sweep in Peace, finds Dina hosting an anything-but peace summit between three warring intergalactic species; Space Vampires, the Hope-Crushing Horde, and the devious Merchants of Baha-char.
One Fell Sweep sends Dina to the galaxy’s worst penal colony to rescue her sister; and back home to fend off a clan of assassins in pursuit, all while saving a guest’s civilization from annihilation…and searching for her missing parents.

Sarah took some lovely photos of the book:

Here’s a word from Sarah:
The illustrations are truly gorgeous, and this is a big wonderful gift for an Andrews fan.
I’m already dropping hints to my boyfriend about it.
If you need any further convincing about getting this book into your life, Sarah put together an unboxing video:

WINNER UPDATE:
*drum roll*
And our winner is…Amanda G!
Your comments have been wonderful, and I know I’d love to see more cool illustrated editions in the future.

Because you were just talking about it …. I would love to see an illustrated version of “The Blue Castle” by L.M. Montgomery.
I would also love an illustrated version of “The Night Circus” by Erin Morgenstern.
Thanks for a lovely giveaway!
This one….actually, its a series…the Guild Hunter series….but I could go for the first book, Angel’s Blood, to be illustrated…reallly its all about Rafael and Elena and the Seven…(sigh)…oh, by Nalini Singh, of course!!
I would love for The Andrew’s “Hidden Legacy” series to be illustrated!
Oh my gosh! Can we also buy this limited edition copy, if we aren’t the lucky winner? Must have on mah shelves!
I would love to see the Karen Chase Cassie Palmer series with illustrations, one of my most favored book-universes.
That is a beautiful book! I would love to see the Mercy Thompson or Kate Daniel book series illustrated!
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman would be lovely with illustrations (full disclosure: have only listened to this on audio, so it’s possible it already has woodcuts!)
@SaraW: Yes, Sara! You can definitely snag a copy for yourself. I know Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as the publisher site has them for purchase.
I’d love to see an illustrated edition of one of the books from Ilona Andrews’s Kate Daniels series (the first book would probably be the obvious choice, though I think one of the later ones where you’d get to see more of magical Atlanta within the story would be most interesting. Basically I want to see an illustrated version of Andrews’s Atlanta).
I would love to see Kate Elliot’s Cold Magic series illustrated. It would be especially fitting since the publisher purposely whitewashed the cover. Would love to see how the hero Andevai is drawn. Julie Dillon did a few images for Elliot’s short story set in the same universe. They were absolutely gorgeous!
Well, since Innkeeper is 3 books so far, I’m going to cheat and say, The first three books in the Temeraire series. 😉
I love, love Ilona Andrews books!! I would love to see A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan or Anne McCaffrey’s Dragon Riders of Pern as illustrated editions. I think the Pern series would make wonderful multi episode movies.
Sunshine by Robin McKinley – partly I just want all of Sunny’s edible creations illustrated 😀 But partly because it’s such an evocative book and one of my favs (I reread it once or so a year).
Any of Patricia Brigg’s work
Courtney Milan’s THE HEIRESS EFFECT–I want to see Jane’s crazy dresses, especially the fuchsine!
I <3 Ilona Andrews so much and I'm so excited for this giveaway. Thanks y'all!
Thanks for opening the giveaway to international readers!
I’d love to see Seanan McGuire’s Toby Daye series illustrated. With all the different types of Fae, I think it’d be awesome to see them in visual form!
I’m torn between Kresley Cole’s IAD series or Shelley Laurenston’s Pride series.
First thing that popped in my head was fever series (karen marie moning)….
I think it would be great to see the Kate Daniels series illustrated. There is so much varied mythology and so many weird and wild creatures in that series.
I’d love illustrated editions of Martha Wells’ Raksura books. I think those would be spectacular!
I would love to see the October Daye books illustrated!
To go down a different path, the Masterpiece Edward Gorey illustrations popped into my head, and some Queens of Crime (or their descendants) illustrated in that style would be fun.
Oooooh… that’s so pretty! I love this series and Ilona Andrews is an autobuy for me 🙂 I’m gonna go old school and say the dragons of Pern series by Anne McCaffery. I have very fond memories of reading that in my early teens and seeing the dragons while reading would have thrilled the younger me. thanks for sharing!
Oh m’gosh – where to start? I’m a total geek over Ilona Andrews’ books (that team can write!) and I have multiple copies of most of the books. So, if it were going to be another IA title, I’d probably most enjoy Magic Bites from the Kate Daniels series as an illustrated.
If we step outside that series, I would love to see some of Shelley Laurenston’s shifter books done in illustrated form – ideally, if it were up to me, someone would have adapted those for television.
Yikes! Too many choices…
I’d love to se Graceling turned into an illustrated edition!
I would love to see The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook illustrated.
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship if Her Own Making would be amazing with expanded illustrations
Another vote for “The Goblin Emperor.” One of my favorite reads last year!
Definitely Megan Whelan Turner’s The King of Attolia!
Anne Bishop’s The Others series
I would like to see His Dark Materials illustrated, especially since The Golden Compass movie was so disappointing.
I would love to have an illustrated edition of Naomi Novik’s Uprooted. 2+ illustrations per chapter for that book would be awesome! I would also be on board for illustrated editions to Ilona Andrews’ Kate Daniels series, or a Robin McKinley book. ^_^
I fell in love with Dina and her inn with the first book Clean Sweep and would love to see it fully illustrated. How amazing would it be to see the ballroom Dina created? Not to mention Sean and Caldenia.
Best giveaway ever
I would love to see Linnea Sinclair Games of Command illustrated
So many great books listed already! Would love to see Patricia Briggs or Seanan McGuire’s books illustrated.
One of my fav series! I just finished the Court of Thorns and Roses series – I think it would make for a great illustrated series.
I would love any Rachel Neumeier book; maybe The Keeper of the mist, or the Black dog series. Her books are so visual.
I’d love to see Naked in Death by J.D Robb illustrated. Especially the characters–Eve, Roarke, Mavis, Galahad! I think the futuristic world would be great fun for the illustrator.
I’d like to see an illustrated version of any of Seanan McGuire’s October Daye books!
The Emperor’s Edge by Lindsay Buroker
Agree with those who’ve already nominated Kushiel’s Dart.
