My camera. If I’m carrying a purse, my camera is always in it!
Beside the essential wallet, keys, phone, I panic if I don’t have chapstick, tissue, and bandaids.
Lip balm and an ideas notebook!
My phone, keys, concealer, and lipstick. Always lipstick. PS, my phone has access to my Google Drive where I have backed up my entire digital library so my books are always with me!
Never leave w/o Kinny the Kindle even on short trips – they have a way of turning long when you are not prepared!

I always keep my Kindle with me. I never get bored waiting in line, and I never have to worry about finishing a book and not having anything left to read!

Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous and big enough for a book for me, a book for my toddler, and a pair of socks I’m in the middle of knitting
I won a party game a few years ago based on a checklist of what was in my wallet and purse. Emery board, yes! Gift cards, check! Coupons, of course! I had twice as many items stashed away as the runner up including a pair of socks and an ultralight sweater.
My basics for getting around would be my large stocked wallet plus a small mirrored case with a lip balm and lipstick plus keys. I never leave the house without my phone.
If I will be out for a while or on transit, I will also have my cable and backup battery plus something to read. Reading materal can be print or ereader.

That moment when you don’t want the bag, but you SO WANT THAT GIFT CARD! hahaha.
For me, the item I literally NEVER EVER leave home without is my lace fan. I could sweat my ass off in the Arctic, so having a way to cool my icky self is a must. I haaaaaaaaaaate being hot! Summer is the devil.

Oh goodness, what DON’T I leave home without? Wallet, phone, and any number of pouches of stuff for easy transfer to and from other purses. I do bring my notebook + pen pouch around the most.
I like to have a first aid kit. I’m always falling or wearing bad shoes.

Definitely aqua! I love all the watery, oceany shades of blue-green.
Reading glasses and a pen/stylus are in any purse I carry, no matter how tiny. And at least one poopy bag, as I never know when my dog or another will need one!

I never leave home without my purse being loaded with:
Chapstick, phone (with Kindle app, of course!), Tylenol and Advil, black eyeliner, keys to the office, spare earplugs (daughter and I are both noise-sensitive), and pens. Plus of course money and ID and all that jazz.
I’m fitting all this in an 8 x 5 x 2 bag right now (along with the usual unnecessary purse detritus) and desperately need to upgrade!
