Chapstick! I get antsy if I forget it.
Hand lotion, chapstick, and my phone. I can get by without anything else, but those are essential. Kindle is next on the list, and then wallet–you can pay for so much with your phone these days, and even get cash from the ATM.
Phone and portable phone charger. I know where my addictions (& career) lie, phone must never lose power!
I never leave home without my Kindle, earbuds, and lip balm. I’m a very practical introvert

2 books and something to knit
I always have either two books with me (in case I finish one, I need a backup!) or my iPad which I use almost solely for reading ebooks. I’m a librarian so it’s for work and pleasure 😉
Chopstick and a mini hair brush – my fine hair looks terrible if I don’t brush it frequently!
Ibuprofen, lipgloss and an umbrella. Prepared for anything!
My purse is stocked with many must-have items, but I’d have to say my swiss army knife – which actually has scissors, nail file, tweezers, flash light & knife is the one I use the most.
My kindle so that I can read anywhere. I rather enjoy reading the sexy bits on the subway when I see someone trying to look at what i’m doing 😉 Even though I have to say on the subway I usually do re reads, because otherwise I’d miss my stop and ride to the end of the line. It happened. Once. Maybe twice. It was the Bridgertons, and I have zero shame.
Also, earbuds to listen to all of the podcasts. I have one for every specific occasion (is that weird?). Smart bitches is specifically for the long walks with the dog in nature, where I usually never meet anyone else so that I can feel part of the group, talk back, AND laugh out loud without strangers staring.
Lip balm, baby wipes (mom), wallet and phone. If I’m going somewhere where I’ll be waiting, a crossword puzzle and a pen.
Mints. I forget mints, I will inevitably end up with a case of skunk mouth.
