Besides my ID and phone, I always carry my kindle, a tube of Sugar lip gloss (in Rosé, at the moment) and my medicine.

Always make sure to have my phone. It’s a multi purpose entertainment tool.
They aren’t in my purse necessarily, but every day as I leave the house I say out loud to myself “Phone, keys, purse, school bag, love you Stump (my dog)”.
My phone a a pack of tissues. I live in the Arctic so I always have a pack of tissues for those extra blustery days!

I have left the house without my ID, my cell phone, and my entire wallet, but never without a book!

So, it used to just be my wallet, phone and keys. As I’ve gotten a little older, I’ve had to add reading glasses to the list of must-haves in the purse.
Besides my wallet and phone necessities? If there is even the remote possibility of sneaking a few quiet minutes, I try to carry a bag big enough to hide the kindle (although the phone will do in a pinch)
