Trying Something New: Live Streaming

In order to try out new technology and to give folks a space to hang out in, I’ve set up a live stream which you can view here:

I’ll be cross stitching, talking about the books I’ve got on my to-read schedule, and I might do a dramatic reading of Five Little Gefiltes because it’s my favorite book to read out loud.

Want to comment or ask questions? PLEASE DO! If you visit the YouTube page, you can comment in the chat area.

If you’re stressed or miserable, come hang out with me for a bit. I’ll do my best to be soothing and silly. Or both. If that’s possible.

Thank you so much, y’all! I’m really pleased you liked my goofy attempts at live streaming and that it offered you a little fun on a tough day. And Maria – your English is terrific!!

Thanks Sarah! I put this on to listen to, sort of watch, on Saturday while resting from a migraine, or what I call the migraine hangover- the draining weariness and utter lack of energy that comes after the pain has been sort of controlled. Yours was a good idea for alternative programming.

I can’t wait for the next Lucy Parker and pre-ordered it this morning after reading the excerpt you posted earlier.

I really liked the gefilte fish story. So cute.

  11. Megan Larsen says:

I just watched this – such fun! Please do this again!

  12. Jean Jambas says:

I did not catch it live but I love it! Can you let us know when You plan to be on? I have a story time request. Would you read How to Walk Your Octopus, please? I read all the time to my son and he is 18 now. Miss those picture books.

  13. @SB Sarah says:

Thank you so much for the positive encouragement!! I will definitely to this again!
