I hope you’ve had as much fun as we have with all the mayhem and merriment. It’s just delightful for me to celebrate all of you and to party for eight straight days.

The eighth night of Hanukkah is pretty special for me, too. We can probably heat the whole house with the warmth from all the candles, and we can definitely make s’mores. It’s bright and warm and beautiful while the  are lit, too.

On to the giveaway! I know you like the handbag giveaways – I try to pick patterns that go with everything and shapes that are both useful but not too overwhelming. And I have one more bag in the strangely-shaped prize closet!

OMG – I have been desperately awaiting the release of Ilona Andrews’ second installment of her Hidden Legacy series – White Hot. If it were possible to wear through an ebook, the first book in the series would have disintegrated in my hands by now! I love Andrews’ characterizations and their world building skills are incomparable. I’m also looking forward to the next installment of Jenn Stark’s Wilde series – I ripped through all of those in an epic binge read over the holiday break (#whatyourenglishteacheractuallyreads). Considering how suck 2016 has been on so many levels, I am happy that 2017 is at least giving me a number of good tomes to look forward to.

  2. Erin says:

It’s a toss up between Beard In Mind (Winston Brothers #4) and Royally Matched (Royally #2). The audio for Royally Screwed was the best. I hope she uses the same narrators. It got my lazy ass motivated to trail run many times. I’m keeping a close eye on Kristen Callihan’s VIP series too. That last one was slow-burn sexy awesomeness.

One of your commenters recommended Wedding? Impossible! by Karen Templeton a few months ago and omg! I’ve been looking so long for a book like that which features second and third generation Asian Americans falling in love, and it’s probably the only romance novel featuring Asians I can relate to. I am so looking for more of those for the upcoming year, but I doubt there will be any.

  30. Ashley Morris says:

I just read the cover copy Tessa Dare released today for her novel in August (or some other unfathomably long time from now), and it sounds like my catnip. Vicar’s daughter! Marriage of convenience! Battle-scarred hero! Catnip catnip catnip!

  31. Kate says:

All new Anne Bishop, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Mariana Zapata, Kristen Ashley, Lucy Parker releases are marked on my calendar. My heart longs for something new by Jennifer Crusie, though. A big, fat book on the order of Fast Women, Welcome to Temptation or Agnes and the Hitman. And what I wouldn’t give for a last Vicky Bliss novel. Sigh.

  32. Katie Lynn says:

Ever since the option of having a character named after yourself in a sequel to His Road Home was one of the prizes for DABWAHA, getting my grubby mitts on said book has been in the back of my mind, lurking.
