graphic image of menorah with a book in front. It's probably supposed to be the torah or something but I'm pretending it's a romanceIt’s the eighth and final night of the Extrava-Hanukkah giveaways!

I hope you’ve had as much fun as we have with all the mayhem and merriment. It’s just delightful for me to celebrate all of you and to party for eight straight days.

The eighth night of Hanukkah is pretty special for me, too. We can probably heat the whole house with the warmth from all the candles, and we can definitely make s’mores. It’s bright and warm and beautiful while the  are lit, too.

On to the giveaway! I know you like the handbag giveaways – I try to pick patterns that go with everything and shapes that are both useful but not too overwhelming. And I have one more bag in the strangely-shaped prize closet!

Today’s giveaway is:

Kate Spade Blake Avenue Margareta tote in black with white dots

A Kate Spade Blake Avenue Margareta tote in Diamond Dot!

This bag is 11.3″ high, 15.6″ wide, and 6.2″ deep (27.9cm x 39.5cm x 15.24cm), and the handle drop is nearly 10 inches (25cm). You’ll definitely be able to put it over your shoulder.

It’s an open tote with a recessed zipper closure, and it has two inside slide pockets and a zipper pocket as well. You can carry just about everything you need in this bag.

And, since you’ll need to get some new books and possibly other treats for yourself, we’re adding a $25 gift certificate to Amazon as well! Woo hoo!

Ready to enter? All you need to do is tell us about a book you really want to read next year. Maybe it’s a title or a series you’re anticipating, or maybe it’s a book that hasn’t been written yet but you still want to find it? What book are you looking forward to, real or imagines?

Standard disclaimers apply:  I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years of age. It’s totally okay to mix patterns while carrying this tote. I just realized that I haven’t preordered the next Mercy Thompson book yet. Claire North has a new book coming out as well. And then there’s the usual summer treat by Ilona Andrews. And a bunch that I’m certainly forgetting.

  6. Aly P says:

I want to read whatever books Nalini Singh, Ilona Andrews and kresley cole publish 😀

All You Need by Lorelei James. LOVE this series!

Zoe Archer’s new London Underground series!

  11. Becky says:

It’s not a 2017 book–I’m behind, thanks to grad school–but I’m really looking forward to reading Meg Cabot’s new “boy” book. She (And that series!) was my into into romance 🙂

  12. Paullette says:

I can’t wait for Between the Devil and the Duke by Kelly Bowen!

  13. Sad Perfect by Stephanie Elliot

  14. library addict says:

Nalini Singh’s Silver Silence which kicks off season two of the “new” Psy-Changeling Trinity series.

I’m really looking forward to The Unyielding by Shelly Laurenston. I loved the first two books in the Crow series. Also can’t wait for the new Kristan Higgins, On Second Thought.

  21. Nimra says:

Silence fallen by Patricia Briggs. Can’t wait!

  22. Miss Louisa says:

I am really looking forward to Devil in Spring, the new Eloisa James coming later this month and and the next insrallment in the Fusion series by Kristen Proby. I like the friendship among the women in that series. Each girl has her own strengths and while they call each other out on their crazy, they unconditionally support each other and still have their rituals like binge watching shows together without the guys. And the guys are ok with that and don’t throw stupid tantrums about being left out.

  23. Michele H. says:

Amanda Quick’s newest, set in 1930’s California, sounds intriguing.I am also looking forward to a more consistent reading year.

  24. JoAnn says:

What We Find by Robyn Carr – really hoping this is the start of a Virgin River type series. Devil in Spring (Lisa Kleypas), Where the Dead Lie (CS Harris), The Thing About Love (Julie James) and the next Colorado High Country book (Pamela Clare) round out my list.

  25. Diana says:

Just finished Lucy Parker’s Act Like It last night and loved it (!) so I’m excited to see she has another book coming out in February. I’m also desperately awaiting the next book in Courtney Milan’s Worth Saga, and looking forward to Lisa Kleypas’ Devil in Spring.

  26. PropellerBeanie says:

I have to second (or actually fifth or sixth) looking forward to new Anne Bishop and Zoe Archer books!

  27. Tanya says:

I’m always looking forward to the next Kate Daniels and Mercy Thompson books and this year is no different.

  28. Mary says:

I’m pumped for whenever I get my copy of Goldenhand from the library. It’s the next of Garth Nix’s Old Kingdom books, a fantasy series with necromancy and bells and badass librarians that meant so much to me during my teenage years. I can’t wait to read where the story goes next.

  29. Stephanie N says:

Impatiently awaiting the next Psy-Changling and Iron Seas books.

  30. Candy says:

Sometimes I think it would be very nice to revisit Winnie-The-Pooh. It’s been that kind of year. However, I have put Bitter Lemons by Laurence Durrell on my to read list.

  31. Marie says:

I am looking forward to the next Seanan McGuire October Daye book. I haven’t enjoyed the last two as much as the earlier books, but I am still anxious to find out some of the back story on October and her missing sister. Hopefully, the next book will give a little more insight into the “bigger picture” of the story.

  32. shoregirl says:

Reading through these comments is very, very bad for my TBR wishlist. My top four:

Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas
the next(last) Maiden Lane book by Elizabeth Hoyt
the next Kate Daniels book by Illona Andrews
And the new book by Eloisa James

  33. Nada says:

I can’t wait for Karen Marie Monings book Feverborn to come out! I binged the series last year and I’ve been waiting in suspense lol. Just 17 more days!! Also can’t wait for Lisa Kleypas’s next book, I knew I shouldn’t have started that series until she finished it, her books always leave me wanting more.

  34. Erika says:

Looking forward to reading the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews.

  35. CelineB says:

My biggest goal in 2017 is not to get many new books just read done my tbr pile. That being said, I have The Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas pre-ordered since The Devil in Winter is one of my all-time favorites. I also really want to read An Extraordinary Union by Alyssa Cole, Pretty Face by Lucy Parker, and the super secret Courtney Milan, Alyssa Cole, and Rose Lerner project. I’m sure there will be a few others I’ll decide I have to have over the course of the year as well.

  36. Amber says:

Well, I just learned that the final Maiden Lane series book is coming out, so definitely that. Also, Devil in Spring and Eloisa James has a new book coming out next month, so I want to read those. As for what I want, I want more Asian hero with a white heroine books. I read Jenn Bennett’s Roaring Twenties series purely for the third book with a Chinese hero and a white heroine, and I read that third book twice in a row. (I really enjoyed the series even though I don’t usually read paranormal.)

  37. Erika says:

I am looking forward to Penny Reid’s The Cad and the Co-ed.

  38. Maureen says:

I am definitely looking forward to Pretty Face by Lucy Parker; I finally read Act Like It and loved it!
Happy Hanukkah everyone, Happy New Year too–let’s have a MUCH better 2017!

  39. Nancy C says:

I’m looking forward to Twist, the latest in Kylie Scott’s Dive Bar series. And the next in Penny Reid’s Winston Brothers series. I love the people in those worlds soooooo much!

  40. Eliza E says:

I’m waiting for the perfect day when I can sit down and inhale How Not To Let Go, by Emily Foster. I can’t start it in the evening because I’ll get another stripe on my Bad Decisions Book Club patch if I do.
