It’s the eighth and final night of the Extrava-Hanukkah giveaways!
I hope you’ve had as much fun as we have with all the mayhem and merriment. It’s just delightful for me to celebrate all of you and to party for eight straight days.
The eighth night of Hanukkah is pretty special for me, too. We can probably heat the whole house with the warmth from all the candles, and we can definitely make s’mores. It’s bright and warm and beautiful while the are lit, too.
On to the giveaway! I know you like the handbag giveaways – I try to pick patterns that go with everything and shapes that are both useful but not too overwhelming. And I have one more bag in the strangely-shaped prize closet!
Today’s giveaway is:

A Kate Spade Blake Avenue Margareta tote in Diamond Dot!
This bag is 11.3″ high, 15.6″ wide, and 6.2″ deep (27.9cm x 39.5cm x 15.24cm), and the handle drop is nearly 10 inches (25cm). You’ll definitely be able to put it over your shoulder.
It’s an open tote with a recessed zipper closure, and it has two inside slide pockets and a zipper pocket as well. You can carry just about everything you need in this bag.
And, since you’ll need to get some new books and possibly other treats for yourself, we’re adding a $25 gift certificate to Amazon as well! Woo hoo!
Ready to enter? All you need to do is tell us about a book you really want to read next year. Maybe it’s a title or a series you’re anticipating, or maybe it’s a book that hasn’t been written yet but you still want to find it? What book are you looking forward to, real or imagines?
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years of age. It’s totally okay to mix patterns while carrying this tote. Honestly, wear whatever you want. You’re going to look fabulous either way! Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Comments will close at or near 12pm ET on Sunday 1 January 2017 and winners will be announced shortly afterward.

Happy New Year, everyone!

In This Grave Hour, the 13th maise dobbs book by jacqueline winspear
I just discovered Jenny Colgan. She has a new book coming out called The Cafe By The Sea! Pretty excited to read more by her. I am currently reading The Bookshop On The Corner which is delightful. My favorite is Little Beach Street Bakery.
For 2017, I want to read the next great psychological thriller. Suggestions welcome!
Thanks for the giveaway! Happy Hanukkah!
I’m looking forward to reading Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuval as I really enjoyed the first book in the series, Sleeping Giants!
The next GA Aiken! Also another Invisible Library book!
I’m waiting (not so patiently) for Shelly Laurentson’s The Unyielding in her Call of Crows series. Thank you, Sarah, for mentioning her in your podcast. I never would have read her otherwise.
So looking forward to The Devil in Spring!!!
Wild Wicked Scot by Julia London
Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas and White Hot by Ilona Andrews.
Ilona Andrews White Hot.
I am obsessed with the first book. i was actually travelling when it was released in 2014. I was in Germany at the time. I kept dragging my travel companion into every book store I saw. She was convinced I’d never be able to find it in english.
But aha! I did. We were in Munich, in a huuuge bookstore. I was so excited.
I had also talked about how excited I was and convinced her that this was a book she wanted to read. So she read it immediately. I gave up first reading pleasure for a person who had travelled with me for 3 months (I felt like she deserves it ☺). She is now an Ilona Andrews convert.
The Diviners book number three is supposed to be out fall 2017, so that! Fingers crossed for sure.
The Trespasser by Tana French has been on my TBR list for a long time. I’m going to bite the bullet and read it soon.
Ilona Andrews next two books in the burn for me series!
The Bird and the Stone by Amy Harmon. I just started reading all her books after starting with some of her other titles.
This is kind of a cruel question. How can I pick only one? LOL I’m thinking series this year: continuing Discworld, re-reading Harry Potter now that I have a set in U.K. English thanks to a very good friend, and starting The Morland Dynasty. I’m also musing what romance series to begin and am leaning towards the Pennyroyal Green, Maiden Lane, and/or any of Eloisa James’ series. Perhaps all of the above!
If L.S. Hinton writes a sequel to Maestra, I am all over that. Cara McKenna and Charlotte Stein both have new titles coming out in February, too.
Devil in spring!
Looking forward to my next marathon read when the next In Death book is released!
I really want to read the Cold Magic trilogy by Kate Elliott. I keep waiting for it to go on sale but since it never does I think I’ll just splurge and buy it full price. I read an excerpt from the first one and I just know it will be right up my alley!!!
I’m eagerly awaiting the second and third books in the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. And if they do another serial for the Innkeeper series then my year will be complete!
I honestly can’t pick just one book (so many good ones out there!), but I am looking forward to reading books by Robyn Carr, Debbie Macomber, and Mary Alice Monroe, just three of my very favorite romance authors!
I can’t wait to read Devil in Spring! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’m looking forward to the next in the Maiden Lane series- I love those book so much.
I’m really looking forward to the next Julia Quinn and the next Julie James. Love both of them!!
