Bed- when there’s nothing else I have to do…
I took my little kitchen table out of my inset kitchen window and put a cozy couch there. It is my favorite place to read because it’s close to the tea kettle….and the food.

I can read anywhere! I love to read! Give me a good book and a glass of wine and I am all set. I do a lot of reading at the kitchen table, living room couch, porch chairs. May all time ultimate favorite is reading in bed, on a rainy day with a nice warm blanket on. AHHHH! What a great feeling. Thanks! Happy New Year!

I love to read in bed, propped up with pillows and cats snoozing beside me. When I was in college, the Student Union had a combination bookstore/library in a big room-with the most comfy chairs. It was a beautiful old building and a gorgeous room, and I would sit there when I had time between classes, and read to my hearts content.
In bed, obviously.
Confession: I’m from a big family, and am now a newish mom, so my favorite spot is the only place where I’m guaranteed some privacy-the bathroom.

The sofa in the den early in the morning with no one around but cats. In the summer listening to the birds and in the winter with the fire going (ok the fire’s on the TV but still).

Wow, what a great question. I’m having so many memories of reading tucked into couches and behind beds so that no one can see me and bother me :). Now that I’m an adult and I’m not afraid to be seen reading romance, I love reading in public!! Transit, coffee shops, parks etc.

I read in bed. Cliche, but the best when my tiny dog is curled up under the comforter, asleep against my hip. Sometimes she snores. It’s my reading soundtrack!

My favorite place to read is wherever I am traveling. My husband likes to photograph, so I always bring a book (or nowadays, ebooks), and I read while he shoots. My all-time favorite place was the Salisbury Cathedral. I was re-reading Jane Austen works all throughout that trip.

My favorite place to read is on the couch, at my desk, or in bed with coffee or hot chocolate. I’ll read anywhere, but these are my most comfortable.

I’m going to be boring and say in bed, but that’s honestly the truth! Though there’s something so lovely about reading on the train – not the subway here in NYC, but on longer haul train trip above ground with the scenery passing you by…I don’t know why, but it’s such a happy image for me!
