Time for our annual eight straight days of giveaways to celebrate Hanukkah! We have so much fun planning these, and we’ve been working on each gift pack for months.
As we did last year, each night celebrates reading, along with some themed prize packs that celebrates the different interests of the Smart Bitches crew. I hope you like them!

Mint chocochip pie from my local bakery. Goddamn but it is diviiiiiine. I actually eat this whenever, wherever. Not just when I’m reading but it definitely adds to my reading experience!
At this time of year, I get a craving for chex Party Mix. We never made it ourselves, but it was something you’d occasionally get at a party — if you were lucky — so it was definitely considered a treat in our family!
Molasses cookies

I never get tired of eating my Applesauce Raisin Spice Cake. It’s always moist, yummy, and full of wonderful hannukah cheer.
Cheese, crackers, and wine. So many yummy cheeses and wines to choose from too! There’s this new smoked goat gouda. . . .
Warm cinnamon rolls with extra frosting! (Just this time of year for extra anticipation factor).

I usually read with a couple of squares of really good chocolate and I am really lucky, muffins that my husband made for me.
I have to be careful what I eat and read. Otherwise I end up with chocolate fingerprints on the book edges. Have to go with my mother’s Spiced Pecans. Clean enough to read with. And would be great with Penzey’s baking spices.
Barbecue potato chips
Chinese almond cookies and a glass of almond milk! Or if I’m in a savory mood, buttery, buttery popcorn.
Anything with caramel. If it has chocolate too, even better.
