Butter Rum Lifesavers bitches!
Cheesecake <3
Red Vines licorice
My absolute favorite treat is to get a big bagel with cream cheese and lox (the salty kind, just to be extra antisocial!) and eat it while I read. Then I brush my teeth and take a nap. Doesn’t happen very often, but it’s the besssst!
Cookies or buttery toast
It has to be chocolate covered pretzels, which I scarfed down today.
Scones! Yummy scones fresh and warm from the oven!!
Digestive biscuits with chocolate are my faves.
Ha! Too many to count! I do love fritoes. As well as popcorn. And snickerdoodles.
To buy panettone, an Italian sweet fruity bread, to make chocolate crinkles.
I only snack when I’m reading ebooks, but I do enjoy a cup of roasted green tea with a bit of brown sugar and milk! I loooove Reese’s peanut butter cups and would eat a truck load if it wasn’t expensive here. <3
*waves back at Stef in AZ* We have to stick together right. 😉
To answer the question, I don’t usually eat when reading but I think it would be anything chocolate. I did have my favorite chocolate pie earlier this month when mom made me some to make up for the pie I didn’t get to eat at Thanksgiving. Lol. I think a few of you may have seen the shortened version of that story on a previous giveaway thread.
I love fresh berry or apple pie. Actually, I think I love any kind of homemade pie!!! Ha ha!
Popcorn! I love my air popper.
Red velvet cake with tons of cream cheese frosting! Happy Hanukkah
I’m a sucker for potato chips and orange slices. With a diet Dr. Pepper.
Ricotta cookies – sweet but not too sweet and kind of puffy like a little cake!
Cookies…or ice cream (yes, even in cold weather!)
If I’m wanting something sweet, brownies. My husband likes to make the Ghiardelli dark chocolate boxed mix and he makes them better than I do.
If I want something savory, a local store sells a rosemary bread with sea salt on top. I like to slice it up and eat it warm with butter. Oh God…now I want some. Damnit…
Biscochitos, from Golden Crown Panaderia. Sooo good! slightly anise flavored, local specialty.
Brownie bites, caffeine-free chai and a romance before bed!
I made an updated version of the Thumb Print cookies I used to make with my mom when I was a kid. Instead of rolling the cookies in chopped nuts and filling them with jam, I rolled them in powdered sugar and used lemon curd. They are so delicious with a cup of tea and a book.
A brown sugar bourbon bundt cake is a family fave. It’s yummy!
Oatmeal butterscotch cookies, with tea.
Pringles. I love Pringles. Sometimes, I get the cheese ones. I like to live large.
Corn casserole!
I love popcorn with fresh butter and nutritional yeast.
Mini Oreos…perfect bite size chocolate treat. Easy to nibble while I read.
Chocolate chip cookies
I know I’m an oddity, but I love eating fruitcake (especially Claxton) when I read over the holidays. So yummy, decadent, and cozy 🙂
Chex Mix. That counts as baked. Can’t get enough of it!
Chocolate! And/or peppermints.
Scones! Yummy warm scones fresh from the oven!
Twizlers. I can devour an entire bag during the really juicy parts!
Lorna Doones and chai.
Small squares of 8 layer dobashe cake with a ganache coating.
Ginger snaps are my guilty pleasure
Brownies. Really fudgy ones.
Brownies…really fudgy ones.
There is nothing like a slice of pie! Blueberry, apple, coconut custard, banoffee (banana cream toffee pie…thank you British pubs in NYC for introducing me!) with a big glass of cold almond milk! Wishing all the wonderful people in the sbtb community a Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah!
