Popcorn or potato chips…
Polvorones or Mexican Wedding Cookies. Just flour sugar butter and nuts. I could eat them all day
Gingersnaps! Such a pain to make, but I cannot turn them down, any time of the year.
I like to read while eating breakfast, and my favorite breakfast is blueberry buttermilk pancakes (Joy of Baking recipe). at Christmas, I love my mother’s recipe for sherry cakes (the best).
Savory Chex Mix!
I like to read while I eat breakfast. My favorite breakfast is blueberry buttermilk pancakes via the Joy of Baking website. If it’s Christmas, I love snacking in my mother’s recipe for sherry cakes.
I love to drink tea and eat cheez-its while I read. This time of year I’m mainlining sugar cookies.
Potato chips, occasionally Doritos (the zesty cheese variant of which I am currently stuffing my face).
Chag Sameach!
Macarons from Sucre in New Orleans!
Chocolate chip cookies
Cheesecake. All the cheesecake.
Sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles.
Brownies. Julia’s recipe.
Tea and homemade shortbread or pumpkin bread 🙂
My seasonal ‘snacking while reading’ indulgences are sausage balls and oatmeal/cinnamon/raisin/chocolate chip/walnut cookies and slices of Florida navel oranges.
What at great gift pack to start things off. Can’t wait to see to what else the great minds at SBTB have come up with.
Whole wheat coffee cookies
A French Silk pie – what a treat!
Hot beverage and biscotti.
The salted chocolate chip cookies from Seven Spoons!
Vanilla bean shortbread!
Red velvet cookies! These are just so awesome with cream cheese frosting. Although I do cringe every time I add the whole bottle of red food coloring.
Chocolate-cream cheese swirl brownies – My signature dessert!
Biscotti!
Double Chocolate – cream cheese swirl brownies. They’re my signature dessert!
I love ginger coookies.
Mmmm, I love snickerdoodles!
I love ginger cookies.
Anything chocolate or peanut butter works for me! Yum!!!
I love baking cookies, and there’s one for every occasion. I like baking double chocolate, oatmeal, and dark chocolate peanut blossom (even if that one tends to get my Kindle smudgy) best. In the morning, a cranberry or Nutella scone works nicely…
I love chocolate….so, it would have to be between 2 of my favorites: Chocolate Croissant and Chocolate Chip cookies.
I love eating Madeleine cookies, and if I have a drink just water.
My go to reading snack is goldfish but I’ll never ever get tired of good, real, fresh bread.
There’s a bakery near my place that makes a raspberry passionfruit tart – it’s everything.
I love chocolate….so I have two favorites: Chocolate Croissant and Chocolate Chip cookies…yum!
Happy Hanukkah to you & your family, Sarah!
I think the only time I’m NOT snacking is when I’m reading. Hmmm…. though I do love a cup of tea next to me.
My favorite is my Mom’s mondel bread recipe. Hers has pistachios and dried cranberries and is dipped in dark chocolate.
Oatmeal raisin cookies…my favorite!
I am an expert level mindless eater, but salty-crunchy is the hardest to stop. Popcorn, chips, peanuts. I can swipe to the next page one-handed 🙂
Peppermint bark. Well pretty much everything chocolate and peppermint.
My sister just made a batch of cherry flips that I am so excited to plough through with a giant cup of tea and my current book in hand 🙂
