Some readers say this is less of a romance and more like chick lit, but many found it to be heartfelt and humorous.

RECOMMENDED: Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger by $2.99! This is the first book in the Finishing School series, which both Carrie and I highly recommend. This is young adult with a steampunk historical setting. And would you look at that cover. Readers loved the creative, whimsical setting, though some expressed difficulty in reading a lot at one time. They had to take breaks every few chapters because of the overwhelming twee-ness. The book has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.

I read What Happens Under the Mistletoe last holiday season. Twelve Kisses was my favorite. If I remember correctly, sexytimes and romance developed quickly, but two of the stories are second chances. You get a pass for a second chance. 🙂
Seconding all the books in the Finishing School series as VERY WORTHY. Sophronia is a stellar example of a stone-cold badass who doesn’t just own her girliness and how society perceives her as a woman, but weaponizes it. One of my all time favorite heroines for sure.
