I want to say that I read this book 7-12 years ago, but the book could have been older. This book is a contemporary romantic suspense type book.
The main plot involves a psychic helping and a cop solve a string of murders by a serial killer. Some specific details include: at the beginning the psychic sees herself arriving to the bank too late…it is closed…she leaves early but gets picked up by a cop (the hero) for speeding or something (making her late). She had apparently called the police providing some clues on a murder and the cop that picks her up (the hero) is looking at her as though she is crazy.
Some other specifics: the hero’s father (who was also a cop) has died prior to the start of the book, the hero has a big-ish family of only his mom (who, if I remember correctly has some psychic abilities too and sees the heroine as the hero’s soulmate) and sisters.
The heroine can link into the killer’s mind and provides clues throughout, but in the end the killer is the hero’s captain…and he also killed the hero’s dad. There is the big reveal at the end with the captain trying to kill the heroine with the hero and heroine prevailing.
I know psychic heroines and law enforcement heroes are pretty popular, but hopefully this one stands out to someone.

Dina McCall was a good guess, I really enjoyed her book The Survivors about a plane crash in the snowy mountains where a physic lives.
I KNOW I read this an d recently too. It was in anthology, definitely. I think one of the other stories was a Tam Lin retelling…Midsummer… Something?
This is KILLING me, because I so rarely know it, and I know I’ve read it. The Sheriff sends the cop to pretend to date the psychic heroine, and the cop/Hero is reluctant at first.
