I felt like this was full of Shakespearean drama, and scheming families, and hot sex, and gorgeous clothes, but also some important things to say about how the world is functioning. There’s a lot going on, though, and the ending a tad rushed.

RECOMMENDED: Wishes by Jude Deveraux is $1.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is being matched elsewhere. The book is just plain, ridiculous fun and Redheadedgirl gave it an A- grade in her review:
This is a Cinderella story where the fairy godmother has actual learning and growing to do, too. That part was fun, and very silly, and the Cinderella motif was ladled on heavily. There was a ruined gown that gets replaced by a truly pimped-out dress. There was a magic wand. There was comeuppance for Nellie’s stupid family. It was emotionally satisfying, if not terribly complex, and I enjoyed it immensely.

Lady in Disguise by Wendy Vella is 99c at Amazon! The heroine is posing as a highwayman and runs into the dude who broke her heart. Awkward. Some readers love the characterization of the hero and heroine, while others felt the plot and romance were a bit over the top. This is the first book in the Langley Sisters series and has a 3.9-star rating on Goodreads.

Am I the only one a little squicked out that the three guys in the fourway are brothers?
I’ve been reading romance, and mostly historical romance, for at least 35 years and I have read thousands of books. Wishes is one of the most unique, memorable and heartwarming of all the books I’ve ever read. I think it was the first book I read with a plus-sized heroine and I think it makes a very important point about loving our bodies no matter the size. Highly recommended!

I’ve been wanting to read All In since i read RHG’s review. I’m so there.
Confession time: I read Colters’ Woman years ago. I was more, ahem, adventurous in my tastes back then but, even so, it was not a particularly comfortable or enjoyable read for me. My tastes have since changed and I wouldn’t want to read it today for a number of reasons. The three brothers thing was weird, and the woman was such a damsel in distress, to boot. I’m just not into kink for the sake of kink, and I don’t want heroines who need to be protected. (And, IIRC, I think the multiple (related) guys with one woman was a family thing in that their parents had the same arrangement.) So, even at the sale price, save your time and money.
I echo Susan’s sentiment. I read Colters Woman when I was into my menage phase and was so dissappointed. To this day it remains the book I most rue spending time and money on.
I’m more squicked out by the “damsel in distress” being “rescued” by a bunch of guys who want to gangbang her than I am about the incest implications.
“We’ll keep you safe… right after the orgy.”
“I’ll stay in the snow and die, thanks.”
I loved Wishes. It was adorable. I always wanted the “fairy godmother” to make an appearance again. Come on Jude, make it happen!
