A Fabulous notions bag, that totally works for storing your hooks.

  1. Arlene says:

    Working on a baby blanket!

  2. Shanan Woods says:

Baby blankets are my favorite to crochet. I usually have at least one going.

  3. Ann Konzen says:

I’m crocheting with handspan – a granny square blanket. Some of it is even Dyeablolica!

  4. SonomaLass says:

I am making a shawl for a dear friend going through a rough time. It is lacy and challenging. I started in June and hope to be finished by the end of August.

  5. Sara says:

Working on a Tunisian crochet blanket, it’s been in the works for a while in between knitting projects.

  6. Juanita Hernandez says:

I’m working on a Seraphina shawl in a lovely green gradient yarn that I got at a local fiber festival.

  7. CS says:

I finished a one-skein shawl for our receptionist because it is way too cold indoors (thanks, AC) and way too hot outdoors. So I found a skein of lace weight and I crocheted until I had to bind off. She wears it a lot!

  8. Katie Lynn says:

I’m actually a knitter, so crochet hooks only come into play when I am steeking or doing a provisional cast-on. And I’m about to start a Britannia by tincanknits with some Madtosh DK Twist for Ravellenics on Friday.

  9. Andra says:

Pinterest put in front of my eyeballs a magnificent mermaid blanket. I’ve never done crochet in my life but I’m armed with videos, dummies links and a lot of happy determination to crochet my very own mermaid blanket.

  10. CrankyBeach says:

Making another batch of kids’ hats, for my church’s missionary team to take to Bolivia next time they go.

  11. Karen says:

Sounds like lots of us owe afghans to various friends and relatives. I wish I was catching up on my list. I owe two of my children afghans (the younger two, of course) and I am several wedding presents behind as well.

  12. ReneeG says:

That superfine bag is a hoot! Learning to crochet is on the list, once I finish knitting my swirl sweater (which depends on work – need my mind back to do all the counting for binding off).

  13. Jacelyn says:

I’m currently making a blanket for my goddaughter to take to college with her, a sweater for my aunt & a kimono for myself. The next project on deck is a swimsuit for my trip to Miami. I’m a happy hooking bibliophile!

  14. Becky Nelson-Zoole says:

I wish I were making a hat for my granddaughter. Maybe I should get on that! 🙂

  15. Amy says:

Lots of blankets and key chains Right now I’m making the bohemian blanket and I just finished a ny mets themed Tunisian blanket.

  16. Emma says:

I wish I was making wool nappy covers – I’ve made lots of lovely fitteds and am dreaming of some made-by-me crochet covers to go over them 🙂

  17. Tracy says:

I’m working on a few projects including an afghan and a light summery sweater.

  18. Valkryor says:

I have a very large, very cozy blanket started, but it’s too freaking hot to work on it. I have a number of small things that need finishing, and a dishcloth on the go.

Huh. Sadly, not much at the moment. I also do a lot more when I’m playing D&D (it keeps my hands busy), and I haven’t been gaming much lately.

  19. Deb says:

I’m currently working on cuddle blankets for my newest greats: my great-niece, Camryn Faith, who joined us on May 9 and my great-nephew, Samuel Robert, who turned a year old on Feb. 7. Love all my great-nieces and nephews!

  20. Murphy says:

I’m hoping to get stuck into making some lovely Christmas gifts – I’ve got a nice cowl pattern I’ve been wanting to try!

  21. Rae says:

I am working on my first afghan, the Modern Rose Afghan, on Moogly.

  22. craftyone says:

I have an afghan to complete. It’s just so much work and so heavy.

  23. Lizz says:

I’m looking at patterns for a cable knit blanket. Last year my sister made stuffed animals for Christmas. She made 3 elephants, 3 elk, a couple lions and some teddy bears. All in a month!

  24. Tammy Adams says:

I am crocheting my first elephant and knitting my first pair of socks. SO EXCITED

  25. MollyM says:

I’m learning and working to improve my skills 🙂

  26. Cynthia Enderlein says:

I wish I could finally finish a granny square blanket I started last year!!

  27. Michelle says:

I want to make a crochet dragon for my son. And maybe a baby sea turtle toy, for a future niece or nephew!

  28. Erin says:

Working on mermaid tails >= . I might finish one if I quit staying up all night reading

  29. Whitney says:

I’m catching up (…starting) my first afghan doing a CAL. It’s scary but I’m learning so much! I’m also starting a shawl for my mom for xmas.

  30. LB says:

I am still working on crocheting a quilt I started two years ago (I’ve done other small projects at the same time). It’s very satisfying to see it grow but it’s such a long project!

  31. flyingchipmunk says:

I’m not crocheting right now, but with the school year starting I’m guessing I’ll soon be back to my stress-induced snowflake crocheting. It’s a thing.

  32. This summer seems to be all about mending, instead of making… That T-shirt armpit that sprung a hole. Those pockets where the stitching is giving out, that won’t hold even my keys anymore without them falling through. That button that fell off my coat. Those very old (3rd…4th hand) towels where the crocheting needs a little love and stitches to reattach to the towel. (Man, those homemade towels just last and last!) And since I’m at it, all. Those. Socks. It’s surprisingly satisfying, once I sit down and get to it. (The audiobook helps, a lot.)

(But I *have* thought about cutting up some old sheets (with the middle worn through) into rag rug makings, and using a giant crochet hook to make a bathroom rug or something. The thought is percolating while I mend.)

  33. Mary says:

I’m currently working on the “Everything Is Cool And Groovyghan,” a CAL sponsored by Keep Calm and Crochet on UK blog.

  34. Amy says:

Have a couple shawls for charity completed, starting on larks foot stitch afghan for my son

  35. Mary Preston says:

I’m working on a baby jacket right now. It’s slow going but super pretty.

  36. Pam Miara says:

I’m making a blanket for a co-workers first baby. She’s due next week so it’s a race to see which gets done first, the blanket or the baby.

  37. Lisa says:

While my hooking is partially on hold as I rest my *insertfavoriteswearwordhere* carpal tunnel, I was working on preemie blankets for the local NICU and trying to adapt a regular cow amigarumi pattern into a highland cow amigarumi.

  38. Tiff says:

I’m making a scrappy Granny square blanket, but it’s gotten so big I have to start using bigger skeins of sock yarn

  39. Jaime says:

I’m working on a dragon’s egg dice bag. Because there is nothing more geeky and the design is ADORABLE.

  40. Holly says:

I am working on a temperature blanket. One row a day for a year. The row color depends on the temp. I started Jan. 1st. I am over half way done, but I’m losing my mojo. It is getting so big and cumbersome to work with especially in the heat. I actually had to sew a new project bag for it just to accomodate its enormous size. I definitely need some inspiration to keep me motivated. That yarn would do the trick!
