Giveaway: Cute Kate Spade Maxi Tote and a Bookstore Giftcard!

We have another Kate Spade giveaway! Seriously, we love finding cute things we can give out to the Bitchery, and our previous books & bag giveaways are always well-received.

This time, we have the Kate Spade Sawyer Street Maxi Tote in Posy Pink.

Kate Spade Posy Pink Sawyer Street tote bag

My purses tend to be black because I’m a mess of a person, so I’m kind of in love with this soft, blush color. Here are the official specs:

  • 11.7″ (29.71cm) high x 12.9″ (32.76cm) wide x 5.5″ deep (13.97cm)
  • handle drop is 8.3″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
  • leather with interior zip pocket and double slide pockets

And, since there’s plenty of room inside, we’re including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Get ready to fill that bag with books or at least a well-stocked e-reader.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 26 August 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to travel, prize will be shipped after August 28, 2016.

Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!

UPDATE: Congratulations to Lorelai! Keep an eye on your inbox and thanks so much to everyone who comment. My TBR pile, however, is a little upset at all the book recs.

  1. Ann Marie says:

I’d probably start with a cookbook because they’re so darned expensive. This title really interests me, Pierogi Love: New Takes on an Old-World Comfort Food.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. Leandra says:

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling. I’ve read it a few times but always on loan from the library.

  3. Mabel says:

I would buy Magic Binds by Ilona Andrews and probably as many of the others in the series as I can – so I have them all the time to reread rather than have to check them out every time.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. Patsy says:

Hmmm, the Elena Ferrante Neopolitan Novels. Though, I really should have bought them by now…

  5. Anna Gagne-Hawes says:

“Catch a Falling Heiress” by Laura Lee Guhrke!

  6. MeganG says:

I’d buy Kushiel’s Chosen. I’ve been in a huge fantasy romance mood lately–and I mean huge literally 🙂 those books are massive. I’d need a tote to carry it around!

  7. Mai Malby says:

With the $50, I can buy JD Robb’s Apprentice in Death ($17), Lora Leigh’s Dirty Little Lies ($6), Jaci Burton’s Mistletoe Games ($13.5), Linda Howard’s Frost Line ($6.5), and Tessa Dare’s Do you want to Start a Scandal ($6.3).

  8. Tina Everitt says:

I would buy Wild Embrace by Nalini Singh

  13. flchen1 says:

Jeannie Lin’s anthology Silk, Swords, and Surrender! What a cute bag–I, too, tend to be a black bag carrier, but this would definitely make me rethink that…

  14. Janet says:

I would finally give in to my nagging Best Book Friend, and order the Outlander series.

  15. Keri says:

If I won, I would buy the top 10 or so F/F romances on amazon (at least, the ones I haven’t read yet!) because I really want an excuse to get them, but I never read enough on my kindle, and I just can’t justify the shelf space for paperbacks I might not want to keep around.

I would also finally buy the last volume of “Wandering Son” that I’ve been putting off, even though I really need to not because the publication/import of that series is put on hold due to slowed sales 🙁 (tbh they’re beautiful books but not necessarily reaching the right market, and they’re a little costly but not for the quality, etc.)

  16. Amanda says:

I’d preorder Island of Glass by Nora Roberts! Then pick up Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. Thanks for the chance!

  17. Lori says:

City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin. I loved the whole Passage trilogy and I am dying because I haven’t been able to read the last one yet.

  18. Judith K says:

I would buy the next installment in the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn!

  19. I would probably preorder Faithful by Alice Hoffman Or whatever Anna Harrington and Kerrigan Byrne had up for preorder.

  20. Ellen says:

Hello, thanks for this email, I’d use the card against the 30+ romance pre-orders I have going on (ouch.)

  21. Diana says:

First book? I’d immediately preorder the new Kate Daniels from Ilona Andrews. Second book? The new Rivers of London from Ben Aaronovich, just in case you’re curious!

  22. Lauren says:

I’ll preorder Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas!

  23. I would preorder whatever Anna Harrington and Kerrigan Byrne had up and also Jade Lee.

I have a couple of cookbooks in my wish list!

  25. Paige says:

The illustrated Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone because it’s so pretty but so expensive!

  28. Meredith says:

I haven’t bought the new Harry Potter script book yet, so I’d get that!

  29. TrishMc says:

The Language of Sisters by Cathy Lamb. Love this author.

I would buy that book you guys recommended so highly last week – A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet. It’s way way way up on my to-read list. Oh and a kindle! I’ve been saving up.

  31. Liz says:

Allegiance of Honor. I’ve had it on hold at the library FOREVER but just can’t bring myself to pay $13.99 for an ebook. Love Nalini Singh but not at those prices.

A Scot in the Dark by Sarah MacLean. Thanks!

  33. Karina Angeles says:

Skye Jordan’s Forbidden Fling. I love the cover and can’t wait to read.

  34. Hillary617 says:

I’d go old-school and get as many hardcover copies of Patricia Veryan books as I could find.

  35. If the name wasn’t already taken, I’d use the nom de plum Kate Spade and write neo noir about a girl detective set in modern Los Angeles with an edgy vintage twist.I would use my gift card to by the book Dumplin’. I’ve heard good things about it — but it doesn’t come out in paperback until next year and I’m on a paperback kind of budget. xo.
