Giveaway: Cute Kate Spade Maxi Tote and a Bookstore Giftcard!

We have another Kate Spade giveaway! Seriously, we love finding cute things we can give out to the Bitchery, and our previous books & bag giveaways are always well-received.

This time, we have the Kate Spade Sawyer Street Maxi Tote in Posy Pink.

Kate Spade Posy Pink Sawyer Street tote bag

My purses tend to be black because I’m a mess of a person, so I’m kind of in love with this soft, blush color. Here are the official specs:

  • 11.7″ (29.71cm) high x 12.9″ (32.76cm) wide x 5.5″ deep (13.97cm)
  • handle drop is 8.3″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
  • leather with interior zip pocket and double slide pockets

And, since there’s plenty of room inside, we’re including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Get ready to fill that bag with books or at least a well-stocked e-reader.

Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 26 August 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to travel, prize will be shipped after August 28, 2016.

Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!

UPDATE: Congratulations to Lorelai! Keep an eye on your inbox and thanks so much to everyone who comment. My TBR pile, however, is a little upset at all the book recs.

First Star I see Tonight by SEP, no doubt about it! Ok, I admit it, it’s already sitting in my kindle…so I’ll probably go with the Outlander series. Big fan of the show, but I’ve yet to start the books!

  13. sam says:

I’m having difficulty getting Jodi Taylor’s St. Mary’s series books in at my local library– that would be my splurge.

  23. JennyME says:

I’d get A Scot in the Dark. Love Sarah MacLean!

  24. shevaun says:

The first book I’d buy would be to preorder the 3rd book of N.K. Jemisin’s The Broken Earth trilogy and purchase the 1st one. I read the 1st one from the library based on a review I read here and it just turned my world upside down, so I immediately ordered and devoured the 2nd one. Now I need all of them so I can reread obsessively.

  25. starlightarcher says:

What book I’d like to read first? That’s tricky, cuz I tend to read 2-3 at a time….because I am a greedy little squab. If I had to pick just one, I’d buy a copy of Cherie Priest’s newest book, The Family Plot. She writes great suspense/ghost stories, and the samples of this one read like American Pickers met Rose Red. I also am impatiently awaiting the next installment from Leigh Bardugo’s Dregs Series. It’s set in the Grisha series world, but with different characters. I’ll wind up reading those to tide me over until Crooked Kingdom comes out this fall.

  26. Aliyah says:

I’ve been meaning to read The Dispossessed: Hainish Cycle Series, Book 1 by Ursula K. Le Guin but the summer has not had enough quiet days yet. Hopefully I’ll get to soon.

  27. Beck says:

I would buy Sarah MacLean’s A Scot in the Dark.

  28. JanetM says:

I’d order Life After Life by Kate Atkinson which I already own in hardback but is too heavy for comfortable night reading.

  29. Radmila says:

    Eleanor Catton “The Luminaries”

  30. Rosie says:

    I’d get Hillbilly Elegy!

  31. Kristin says:

Julie James. Anything by her at all. Or Katherine Ashe. I’m not picky. I own them all electronically but I crave real paperbacks. Or maybe the illustrated Harry Potter for my son who is obsessed.

  32. Jennifer says:

Just finished Kate Daniels #7, so I would have to pick up #8 (if I haven’t bought it already …).

  33. I’ve been wanting to read Redshirts by John Scalzi for a while now

  34. EsperanzaA says:

    Preorder the Magic Binds.

  35. Katie C says:

I would buy A Game of Thrones, since I have never read the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

  36. Sebtastic says:

The first book I’d buy would be “Dirty” by Kylie Scott. I read it already care of my library, and now I want my own copy.

(Very enjoyable book, recommended especially if you like the Stage Dive series. Recommended in general just for fun, otherwise.)

  37. Vicki says:

So I would most likely buy one or two books off my 387 Amazon wish list. Most like IIona Andrews or Anne Bishop’s new book

  38. Caroline Guigar says:

Ah do I have to pick just one? Probably Bounty by Kristen Ashley or Wild Embrace by Nalini Singh. But I’m also behind on Kresley Cole’s immortal series. Oh who am I kidding I would buy all the things.

  39. Emily J says:

So far I’ve listened to the Outlander books, but I’d like to do a re-read with physical copies!

  40. Lynnd says:

I would preorder Michelle Sagara’s Cast in Flight and Tessa Dare’s So You want to Start a Scandal.
