I know you all like cute bags and book shopping, and with the response to prior giveaways involving books and bags, and with the most excellent results of sale shopping, I have another Kate Spade tote and a bookstore giftcard to give away!
(I’ll be honest – it’s really fun to plan giveaways and pick out things that I am pretty sure you’ll be excited about.)
I have a very cute Kate Spade tote bag, the Gallery Drive Small Harmony in multi – which is a print made of overlapping grey and pink polka dots on a black background.

Isn’t it adorable? And it’s plenty big to hold all sorts of necessary things. Here are the official specs:
- 9.9″ (25.14cm) high x 11.9″ (30.22cm) wide x 6.2″ (15.74cm) deep
- handle drop is 9″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
- it’s not leather – it’s glazed fabric so it’s sturdy enough to stand up on its own, but not too heavy to carry
And, since there’s plenty of room inside, I’m including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Woo! Fill it with books! All the books!
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 8 July 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to international travel, prize will be shipped after July 16, 2016.
Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!Â
ETA: We have a winner: Peggy H! Congratulations, Peggy, and thank you to everyone who entered!

Sarah Kuhn’s Heroine Complex
If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo.
Probably the Dawn of Arcana manga series.
I’m behind on two series I love, Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, and JD Robb’s Dallas, so I’d puck up those…
Or, y’know, PICK up. *sigh* Thanks, autocorrect…
Sherrilyn kenyon, Dragonmark!!! Cant wait for that to come out!!!
I’ve been waiting to buy Jay Crownover’s Marked Men series in paperback.
Absolutely the Hamil-tome! I borrowed it from the library and it is such a lovely companion to the soundtrack. Maybe even pick up the audiobook version as well.
Thank you for all the fun contest you do!
I’d buy a travel guide to Norway – we’re going there later this year and I’m ready to start planning day trips. Adorable bag!
Watch Me by Angelica Houston
I would pre-order the next Kleypas novel!
I’m currently glomming Linda Castillo’s Kate Burkholder series, so I’d buy the next book in that one.
I would pre-order the new Sarah MacLean, A Scot in the Dark. And then probably pick up some other historical romances.
As Death Draws Near by Anna Lee Huber
Wow! such a tough thing to pick the FIRST book I would buy! I think Sarina Bowen’s Bittersweet would be first.
Old Man’s War by John Scalzi. I just read Redshirts and it was amazing!
Nalini Singh-Allegiance of Honor
Ugh, I have to pick ONE???!!! I guess I would probably look into Octavia Butler’s catalogue, since I just through reading about a book of hers that i’m interested in.
Another vote for Elena Ferrante’s Neopolitan novels. So, My Brilliant Friend first, I guess.
What would I buy…hmmmm…
I think I would pre-order Maya Bank’s book coming out in late August. With Every Breath is the next installment in the Slow Burn trilogy and it drops on August 23rd. I like almost everything Maya writes so I’d pre-order that sucker like there was no tomorrow.
Complete works if Elena Ferrante – perfect beach reads that I’ve been meaning to read & finish (I read book 1).
The third and final book in Kelley Armstrong’s fantasy Age of Legends trilogy. I’ve read the first two but now the wait for the 3rd from the library is starting to grate on my last nerve.
I’d buy Let’s Cook Spanish and Let’s Cook Italian, because my younger daughter and I are working our way through Let’s Cook French right now!
The Girls by Emma Cline. Library list is moving like a turtle! or the pink edged Valley of the Dolls. Seriously hard decision.
I would visit my local book store (Big Blue Marble) and go crazy getting all the fantastic new picture books that I haven’t had a chance to buy yet. Things like Rosie Revere, Engineer; Interstellar Cinderella, etc – I have a new baby on the way and my older son needs more feminist books in his life.
The summer puts me in a contemporary mood, so I’d be buying lots of those.
I’ve been eyeing The Rook by Daniel O’Malley. I have a strict $5 limit on e-books but with a giftcard all rules are off! 🙂
OOO, I’ve been looking for a copy of “The Other Typist” by Suzanne Rindell since I finished and greatly enjoyed her “Three Martini Lunch.” I need some more books to read when I head to the beach next week!
I would pre-order the US version of Sarah MacLean’s next book A Scot in the Dark!
There are more than 600 books in my Amazon wishlist so I would start at the top and buy until the gift card runs out…
Heroine Complex and Rise! 🙂
Mary Balogh!
I’d like to get another copy of “Come as you Are” so that I don’t end up giving away my edition!
I usually pick up extra copies of books at the used bookstore when I feel like being a single-title evangelist, but I’m not sure I can wait for this one to make it to the used bookstore’s shelves. 🙂
Jayne Castle’s Illusion Town & Linda Grimes’s All Fixed Up
So cute! Actually, I’d buy Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Most of my book collection is romance, but I adore Harry Potter and I lost the first 3 books in a recent move :-(.
I might stock up on Penguin English Library editions from the Book Depository. Pretty pretty pretty!
Wait, I can only pick one? Hmm….I really want to read the Han Solo trilogy, and they are on Kindle now! So I think that’s got to be it. Either that or The Other Side of Winter by Simone St. James, because I’ve only read one of her books before, and I’ve been assured that Midnight is her best.
I do have almost 200 books on my Kindle wishlist, but I’d love to start making a dent in it… ^_^
A Gentleman Never Tells by Eloisa James downloaded onto my Kindle.
The Jemima Code: Two Centuries of African American Cookbooks. I just read about this on my Smart Bitches email post. Yea!
Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh.
