I know you all like cute bags and book shopping, and with the response to prior giveaways involving books and bags, and with the most excellent results of sale shopping, I have another Kate Spade tote and a bookstore giftcard to give away!
(I’ll be honest – it’s really fun to plan giveaways and pick out things that I am pretty sure you’ll be excited about.)
I have a very cute Kate Spade tote bag, the Gallery Drive Small Harmony in multi – which is a print made of overlapping grey and pink polka dots on a black background.

Isn’t it adorable? And it’s plenty big to hold all sorts of necessary things. Here are the official specs:
- 9.9″ (25.14cm) high x 11.9″ (30.22cm) wide x 6.2″ (15.74cm) deep
- handle drop is 9″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
- it’s not leather – it’s glazed fabric so it’s sturdy enough to stand up on its own, but not too heavy to carry
And, since there’s plenty of room inside, I’m including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Woo! Fill it with books! All the books!
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 8 July 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to international travel, prize will be shipped after July 16, 2016.
Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!
ETA: We have a winner: Peggy H! Congratulations, Peggy, and thank you to everyone who entered!

Lisa Kleypas backlist
I would get Wonder Woman ’77 Vol. 1. It’s a graphic novel based on the Lynda Carter Woman Woman TV show. It looks very cool and retro.
A Bollywood Affair by Sonali Dev, I just read Bollywood Bride and I want more books by her!
Probably would buy two books right off the bat. This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab for moi and Superhero High: Supergirl for my little girl. It comes out tomorrow and she loves her some superheroes. She already read the Wonder Woman one.
I think I’d have to go with The Cursed Child!
I’d like to buy some Nailini Singh books!
Ooh the July new releases post put a bunch of things on my wishlist. I’ll second everyone else saying they want Heroine Complex.
Sarah Maclean’s A Scot in the Dark
the new Harry Potter play
This bag is super cute, and I too would buy Rise of the Rocket Girls — a friend of a friend wrote an opera about the life of Katherine Johnson last year, and since then, I’ve been fascinated by the women mathematicians who worked for NASA.
I love that bag! I was just looking through my bookcases to clean/declutter this weekend and there are some classics that I would like a new, not falling apart copy of (I declutter and end up wanting to buy more things – I’m doing this wrong) – such as Cold Comfort Farm. But I also look ebooks and wanted to get the new Jill Shalvis book that just came out last week.
The Raven King because the wait at the library seems like an eternity. Then the rose and the dagger because my library does not even have that yet! Then I have a stack of regency romances I have earmarked to read after reading this site that my library would never in a million years think about acquiring which is pretty sad.
My Amazon wishlist is enormous at this point … I would like a physical copy of Outlander though 🙂
I’d buy Nalini Singh’s lastest release Allegiance of Honor.
I’d either buy the Hamilton book or This Savage Song by VE Schwab.
The new trilogy by Gillian Anderson, at least when the third is released.
For me it would be Kill or Be Kilt by Victoria Roberts, yes, I know the book has been out awhile but between working two jobs, I haven’t had the time to buy it yet!
I am a big Shakesdork, so probably The Year of Lear: Shakespeare in 1606 by James Shapiro. But after that, i would probably load up on all the Kresley Cole IAD books I still need to catch up on.
Ooooh. Hard to choose but I think I would get the new(ish) Lois McMaster Bujold.
Even though it’s peak Nora-speak, I’d buy Bay of Sighs.
Fall from Grace, about Shoeless Joe Jackson, for Dearest Hubby, so he won’t fell left out while I enjoy my new Kate Spade bag.
Julia Quinn’s latest, which I haven’t read yet — Because of Miss Bridgerton!
I’d buy Simona Ahrnstedt’s All In! It sounded great from the review here!
The first book I’d buy would be a copy of Caitlin Moran’s Moranifesto.
Kresley Cole’s new Arcana book – I love that series as much as her IAD!
I’d pick up SAGA vol. 6. Comic books are still books!
Solutions and other problems – Allie brosh
I read one of Elizabeth Hoyte’s Maiden Lane books and really enjoyed it, so the books I would buy the first in the series! You ladies rock!
Pre-order SEP’s First Star I See Tonight. Hurry up, August!!
I would buy the new Kerrigan Byrne book, The Highlander
A “Nacho Figueras Presents” novel since the bag looks like it needs to be at a polo match. Thanks for the chance!
J. Kenji-Alt’s Serious Eats cookbook. I don’t cook with recipes but this looks really fun to read.
So many books… Right now, though, Obsession by Nora Roberts.
What an adorable bag!
I can’t wait for Hell Breaks Loose by Sophie Jordan and would snatch that one up when it releases
Thank you for the chance to win.
I’ll pre order book #2 and #3 in Jill Shalvis’ new Heartbreaker Bay series.
The first book I would by is A Week to be Wicked – it’s been in my to read list forever and that needs to change!
Definitely Kerrigan Byrne’s new one, The Highlander, that comes out at the beginning of August, just in time for a long weekend for me.
I have a bunch of ebooks on my to-buy list, but I don’t think they’ll take up a ton of room in the bag. I’ll have to go with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Thanks for the giveaway & Happy 4th of July!
“Letters to A Soldier”, the third in Julia Spencer-Fleming’s Clare Fergusson/Russ Van Alstyne mystery series.
I would buy Sarah McLean new book coming out soon
