I know you all like cute bags and book shopping, and with the response to prior giveaways involving books and bags, and with the most excellent results of sale shopping, I have another Kate Spade tote and a bookstore giftcard to give away!
(I’ll be honest – it’s really fun to plan giveaways and pick out things that I am pretty sure you’ll be excited about.)
I have a very cute Kate Spade tote bag, the Gallery Drive Small Harmony in multi – which is a print made of overlapping grey and pink polka dots on a black background.

Isn’t it adorable? And it’s plenty big to hold all sorts of necessary things. Here are the official specs:
- 9.9″ (25.14cm) high x 11.9″ (30.22cm) wide x 6.2″ (15.74cm) deep
- handle drop is 9″ (that’s the space between the top of the handle and the top of the bag itself – and that’s plenty of room to put this tote over your shoulder)
- it’s not leather – it’s glazed fabric so it’s sturdy enough to stand up on its own, but not too heavy to carry
And, since there’s plenty of room inside, I’m including a $50.00 giftcard to the bookstore of the winner’s choosing. Woo! Fill it with books! All the books!
Standard disclaimers apply: I’m not being compensated for this giveaway except that I got to go shopping online which means I didn’t have to wear shoes or real pants. Void where prohibited. Open to international residents where permitted by applicable law. Must be over 18 and ready to carry some or all of the things, including the books you like best. Stop drop and roll. In the event of an actual clearance sale, all items will be immediately placed in the shopping cart and all discount codes available worldwide will be automatically applied (wouldn’t that be nice). Mind the gap and the handle drop, too. Comments will close Friday 8 July 2016 and winner announced same day. Please note that due to international travel, prize will be shipped after July 16, 2016.
Ready to enter? Leave a comment and let me know what book you’d buy first if you won. Good luck!
ETA: We have a winner: Peggy H! Congratulations, Peggy, and thank you to everyone who entered!

I would buy Daniel O’Malley’s Stiletto. Great giveaway!
What a beautiful bag! I would definitely buy one of Tiffany Reisz’ novels with my gift certificate.
I would get Finding Fraser by K.C. Dyer, since Droughtlander time is drawing near….
Hm, do I pick a book I’ve been wanting to read that my library doesn’t have? In that case, it’s The Clockwork Wolf by Lynn Viehl. Or do I pick a book that the library does have, and I already read, but now must own for my collection? In that case, it’s Steel’s Edge by Ilona Andrews.
I’d buy the book I’m currently reading – Romantic Outlaws by Charlotte Gordon, about Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley. It’s from the library but I think I may need to actually own it!
That is a lovely bag and a wonderful thing to do to make my week just a little bit better. I would buy the new Janet Evanovich/Lee Goldberg novel `the pursuit`as it is still brand new (and still so expensive) and after the evil cliffhanger the last book ended on, I refused to ever read another book in the series… Well now there is an actual new book and resisting is soooo much harder… Also a big THANKYOU from Germany for making this giveaway open to international residents.
HMMM. New Harry Potter? New Molly Harper? Probably one of those.
I’d buy the latest Alice Clayton book, “Cream of the Crop.”
I, Tituba by Maryse Conde. Such a cute bag!
The first Baccano! light novel, which I literally screamed out loud in joy over finding it had at last been released in English back in May. 1930s supernatural AWESOMENESS. One of my all time favorite series, and so, so, so underrated.
Hmmm… probably one of the recent cookbooks reviewed or mentioned in commens here (Cravings and Cookwise).
Sorcerer to the Crown has been on my to-buy list, I would probably go with that 🙂
The first book I’d buy if I won would be The Vegetarian by Han Kang.
Wasn’t sure what I’d buy first, but reading through the comments, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is definitely my pick!
I might buy that illustrated Harry Potter book.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would buy the complete Outlander series.
Some of the science/art books I’ve been looking at lately.
ALL of the Diana Gabaldon books which I will then read incessantly for days on end! 🙂
“Blow Down”, the 4th in the Plumber’s Mate series by JL Merrow. It’s being published on Tuesday and I’m planning a day off sick to read it!
I recently came across Idol by Kristen Callihan, which has got me intrigued. That would probably be the first one in my cart.
The Beast by Ward. I mean when did hardcovers price increase to $30? Right now waiting til November for the paperback
I would let my daughter pick out a couple Mangas.
The Savage Song by V. E. Schwab!
I would buy my next book club pick! SWEETBITTER by Stephanie Danler.
Since I’m on a Nalini Singh bender at the moment, probably more of the Psy-Changeling books or that Simona Ahrnstedt All In book.
I’d preorder the Kresley cole’s new arcana book!
I would so buy the latest Nalini Singh book, as well as the two before that so then I’d have ALL of them in actual book form, not just ebook! 😀
Oh my gosh. So many books. The one that’s been on my list the longest is Notorius Victoria: The Life of Victoria Woodhull, Uncensored.
I would buy Hamiltome so fast my clicking finger would hurt.
Maybe I’d finally spring for the newest vorkosigan book even though the paperback isn’t out yet
Bluest of Blue by Melissa Blue
A Prayer For Owen Meany by John Irving
2 copies of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — one for me and one for my stepdaughter!
I would buy A Study in Darkness and A Study in Ashes by Emma Jane Holloway, because I just finished A Study in Silks and I must read the rest of the trilogy, as the first book hit many of my catnips…..
First thing I’d buy is a road map of Scotland. Vacation. But the map would fit rather nicely into that tote.
The Wall of Winnpeg and Me
maybe a paranormal
I’d buy the latest by Jill Shalvis.
Imprudence by Gail Carriger and Heroine Complex.
And as many Tessa Daresand, Courtney Milans, and Georgette Heyers as possible.
Ooh, cute bag! A girl can never have too many book totes, LOL. I would buy Gena Showalter’s The Darkest Torment first if I’m the lucky winner!
